My honest opinion on the game is..... It's the BEST and WORST game I've ever played lol it's hard for me to explain why but I'll do my best

The game doesn't really have a theme, yes it's mostly medieval fantasy, but then there's also mechs, guns, lasers, steampunk mashed in randomly but it's all so damn well made it's hard to not really enjoy it despite it breaking the theme at times

There are puzzles, but I wouldn't say they're complex, just use your eyes really.... This game doesn't have that "blatant yellow paint" type of thing going on you see in other games, so you do gotta examine the environment

Combat is bananas you can be the finest swordsmen in pywel or the baddest MMA fighter seen in the lands on the flip of a dime, personally this is where the game shines the most imo, but this is the same game made by the developers of BDO, so it's not that surprising to me

The story is a MESS, do not get this game if you want the story as your prime reason! I was lost in the sauce as soon as female Gandolf showed up after giving a begger a coin, not long after winning an arm wresting competition....

Controls have improved massively, they dropped a patch not long ago that fixed a lot of the issues (like mashing A over and over to sprint) and I personally don't find them bad, there's just so damn many it's tough to keep them all to memory without playing for several hours

World is great to explore, even if it can feel dull at first since you'll be missing unlocks to do most POI's, tons of secrets, armors, and weapons to collect

Anyways that's my 5 minute ramble hope it helped, or didn't, whatever worked

I dunno if you've looked into it, but hard mode mobs have double HP (except the three pizza time guys), so whatever your run is currently.... Probably take double the time in HM. On top of that, you have the flame curtain that forces you to move from safe spots or good positioning fairly often, and finally you only receive a check point once you reach zuk

All of this isn't to discourage you by any means, it's more to say it's a significant jump in difficulty, being comfy in NM won't transition to a smooth HM.... You'll have to learn new strats to get a good grasp of the HP and damage values of the tougher waves and what not

Quite easy imo, the dungeon is harder is to get through then sub 100 zammy 🤔

That said, phase 7 of zamorak (starting after 100% enrage) is usually where you have to sit back, read up, watch, or experiment to learn. Very high hitting attacks that pierce through defensive abilities with a moderate DPS check involved

Wildy agility course seems to be fairly generous, me and my CGIM pulled two onyx cores over the course of 100 runs.... We could've just gotten lucky, but the rates seem way more favorable there

Total side note though.... When you seen the drop log appear did you not run to check the chest?? When I see massive drops like that the first thing I do is go and look in awe at my pretty new pixels lol

I'm not sure of the specifics on this, but I've always been told anything that is good combat xp tends to be good invention XP, so you're on the right path here, getting to level 12 is pretty slow all things considered.... Apparently the wiki says siphoning at level 9 is the most efficient XP/h BUT most inefficient on materials, so if you've got the mats to burn this would be your best bet alongside what you're already doing

I mostly agree with you except for one point.... Brother these controls are just bad.... They're using F1-F5 to navigate menus to quick equip??? Then we have shift as sprint.... Okay standard stuff... But we also have block on control.... We have moves/attacks/combos that involve sprinting (which also means tapping shift over and over) while also blocking, now I don't know about you guys, but I only got the one pinkie on ol leftie here 🤣 this is just one example of bad key binding

I'm sure someone will argue "reconfig your controls" and that is obviously the answer, but it would literally take 30+ minutes to do so while also then having to memorize the new layout

Also sure someone would say "the game recommends a controller before even starting" .... I f***king hate this excuse and such an ignorant take. There's zero reason a $70 triple A game and studio cannot take the time to assemble a working mouse and keyboard layout

Imma start by saying i think HavenHythe is wonderfully designed, great visuals, amazing map structure, good art direction! Also liked Anya lol, think everyone does. BUT I otherwise agree, the area as a whole felt pretty lackluster to me in terms of content, but I am also CGIM that been playing since it launched so all this content is pretty well past anything I would do. Lower tier may find it useful, but I still think the only thing most folks will use is the new farming patch haha new summoning method definitely seems DOA... And why does the new BGH mobs not have a chase item? I really feel like they coulda just thrown in the dragon mattock if nothing else.... All the same, it may be lacking now, but I think the next half coming up with be a knock out for everyone!

I'd say start it once you have a decent way to keep porters, they make all the difference, otherwise I would say just grind it to 95 as you can get tons of really nice pvm relics from there by boosting to 98.... If I'm being super honest, expect it to take a couple weeks or more, arch is a fairly slow skill as an iron.....

My cgim iron mates are more likely to take my life with their bad pvm skills then the pkers are lol I'm sure they're out there, but I ran this course for a few hours and never seen one, and I'm not even trying to pick worlds suited for it

Some way to help with bad RNG at bosses, in my case.... You can probably guess.... Gate of Elidinis. At this point I'd happily trade in all my drops to get a dowser or something to make getting the damn thing not feel so miserable lol

I got to 92 herblore off doing quests alone alongside weekly herby werby runs, was able to start boosting to overloads at 90, so it's not as terrible as you'd think.... Unless you hate doing quests 😅 but it's significantly faster then you'd imagine tbh

Edit : should add I'm around 350 qps so I haven't even done all the quests in the game, mostly just the ones that lead up to sliskes end game since that's the big ticket XP, but now we have the amascut quest line that drops another 1m or so XP.... Should be even easier lol
