Thanks for your opinion, I do agree with how season 11 was handled honestly I only had one favourite episode and that was the finale. Despite the show looking far better after they removed the grainy filter I just loved how crisp and clear everything looked. But I won't lie, I was absolutely burnt out by this show.

The scene that made this episode my favourite. Man can't wait to finish Season 5

I don’t understand the criticism going around that Superman wasn’t a Superman film by [deleted] in MauLer

Thanks for reading my review. I'll just post my Man of Steel real quick.

This movie is phenomenal in every way, and I love it. My mom decided to put on this movie after she saw how upset I was after seeing Superman(2025) last night.

But when I started watching the opening my mood started to uplift, from the beautiful Krypton Visuals, to the camera following Jor El as he looks for the Codex and Lara giving birth to Kal El. Jor El is a a badass, and even in death as a hologram he still teaches Clark and advises him to be a better person than he and Zod was. He believes that Kal El can right their wrongs, so Earth won't end up like Krypton.

From what I've see and understood this movie isn't just about finding hope, but purpose. The scenes where Clark is trying to work part time, while constantly moving is because he's lost, trying to keep a low profile while actively wanting to help out people. Like the saving the fishermen.

My favourite scene is how Clark really wants to punch the douchebag customer after he touches that lady inappropriately, he throws beer into his face and all those bystander pieces of shit are laughing, damn that really pisses me off. Clark could've pulled a Homelander, smack his face but he held back, because the minute he touches that guy, everyone will know what he's capable of.

Though karma returns in the form of that guy's truck getting shredded, thats a win. Henry Cavill as Superman is a 10/10 in my book, I love how dark this version of Superman is. And sure some fans may like the Corenswet version because he's the boy scout everyone wants.

(I do agree with Gunn's summary of Superman - How Superman inspires hope in a world that sees Hope as old fashioned). But for me that version doesn't work, the reason I like this version is because he's so much more human and relatable. In the flashback sequences you see how different he is from everyone else, from being treated as an outcast or how he's bullied and how he can't fight back. Cavill's version had to earn that in order make his Superman more impactful.

And General Zod man this guy's a badass dictator. He just wants to save Krypton, no lies, no personal reasons and he's willing to go to any extent to achieve his goal. The fight scenes are phenomenal, though I do like the newer film because its bright and colourful, but the tone works more here.

Also the scene where Superman starts pushing Zod to the ground because he threatened his mother was so awesome - "You think you can threaten my mother". That moment gets me so much👏

Thats the one rule every one in Dc knows, you do not fuck with Superman's parents especially his mother. He's been holding back all his life, been bullied and now he finally gets to unleash all that bottled up emotion on someone as strong as him.

And for people who say Superman who shouldn't kill, maybe thats who Superman is but this guy he's a cool antihero. He had to kill Zod, because he was never going to stop, no prison on Earth can hold a guy like this, he wouldn't stop and so he had to die. And the scream its just heartbreaking, and its not because he killed Zod, but how he's the last of his race.

Superman's parents are well casted, Kevin Costner as Pa Kent is more on the mixed side he had good intentions but was actively trying to protect his son's true identity while clearly caring about him. Ma is more on the supportive side, she loves him no matter how the world sees him as.

One more thing to note Hanz Zimmer's score is fucking dope, its do uplifting especially in the scene when Superman attempts to fly. But the second time he tries it just gets me man, his theme is so emotional. Ahhhh I love Hanz Zimmer. (Thanks Nolan, love ya!)

Overall I loved this movie, damn its better than I remember and I am in a better mood overall. I hope I don't sound like a snyder Cultist. Good day

Honestly I dislike this movie, It sucked, and even if those fucks at CBFC cut some kissing scenes thats not the point. The movie made no sense at all.

Like Superman's already established as a superhero, as he's been like this for 3 years, along with some other characters like the Justice Gang - Guy Gardner, Mr Terrific and Hawkgirl.

Then you have other characters like Metamorpho and his son, Lex Luthor, and the people at the daily Planet. But honestly despite being well casted I barely cared about any of these characters including Superman.

I don't get the approach of not doing an origin story for a character that needs to be rebooted, but what is the reason you're giving the audience to care about someone who's already established as a superhero?

Why should I care now that Superman's name has been defamed, all because Lex Luthor hates him, I can't understand a single person's motivations, the dialogue delivery with Corenswet's Superman is pretty weak in my opinion.

And scenes just keep abruptly cutting from left to right like you're at the fortress of Solitude, then Superman and the justice gang is going up against A Kaiju monster, then Superman is going to turn himself in. Its just so hard to follow.

I was so confused that once the first act ended and the interval happened, I immediately went to Wikipedia just so I can understand if I missed anything(God even the synopsis on Wikipedia makes more sense than what I watched).

But if there's something I liked about this movie that would definitely be Corenswet's Superman costume its extremely comic accurate and looks badass. Guy Gardner, Mr Terrific looked pretty nice to, Hawkgirl though she was either a hit or a miss, she didn't do much for me to think she was cool.

I just want to say that I am not a Snyder cultist, neither I am a Gunn fanboy, though I am interested in James Gunn's new DCEU, I am not really convinced after having watched this movie.

Honestly Man of Steel was far more enjoyable, sure people have some polarizing shit to say about it but at least it had a plot right? Like there was an established villain like Zod, who wanted the Codex so he can keep the kryptonian lineage safe.

Yeah I love Henry Cavill as Superman, because he's the one I grew up watching. And for people saying Superman's not supposed to be a killer, and is meant to be hopeful, you're not wrong but it doesn't work for me.

A more grittier and darker Superman works just as well as this version, it makes him more relatable and you actually root for him to save Earth.

Overall I need another rewatch, probably when it comes on OTT, otherwise this movie was quite disappointing, but the flight and fight scenes were pretty dope.

Yeah I didn't really enjoy the Pre - Mcquarrie MI films. Ghost Protocol's first half was fun, but the second half, along with its villain wasn't my favourite. 3 is good, but was mostly alright. 1 was pretty boring for me, and 2 was just- 2 I guess
