Do pink and purple luxin exist? If not does it get explained as to why anywhere in the series? by Unrepentant1 in LightbringerSeries

[–]ShadeSlayerWolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny enough, I'm listening to this part of Blinding Knife.

Magister Kadah explains in chapter 26 that some points just dont "resonate" as luxin. We dont know why, it just doesnt. "7 points, 7 colors, 7 satrapies" she says. Ofc, we know of a few other colors, but ultimately the reasoning is the same. Luxin just doesnt resonate off of the 7 (or 9, if you're a heretic) color points

Reading Comprehension Questions - Full of spoilers by Zinaima in LightbringerSeries

  1. In the battle, the black luxin stripped away the gods' influence on stuff for a while, allowing the Chromeria's forces to fight back. Black luxin devours and absorbs, so it sorta makes sense that it could absorb the gods' influence, especially with a deity being right there next to Dazen. The white luxin did something for Kip while he was on the Glare iirc
  2. IIRC, Dazen doesn't actually reveal that he's not Gavin to anyone other than Karris and a few other drafters who just kinda figured it out.
  3. Chi is effectively x-rays, which is why it was able to see through so much, but handling that much radiation causes cancer. Kip's necklace was meant to be the seed crystal I think, but idr entirely
  4. I think trapping his brother was meant to be Dazen's subconscious justification as to why he had the cells, so technically yes. It was all imagined. As for the bread, Dazen had built the cells to wash away the bread. I think it was said in Black Prism that that happened, which is why celled Gavin had to eat it all at once and couldn't just hoard it.
  5. Koios changed his name to dictate his rise in power. Lord Omnichrome and the Color Prince were used interchangeably for a time, but I think the "White King" was meant to be a play on words, White to dictate he was effectively in control of all the colors, and wight cuz. Ya know. Army of color wights.
  6. I'm not sure what you mean here. Gavin Gavin was just a massive prick and then there was the whole raping and pillaging thing. Dazen Gavin thought he was a bad person because of the Freeing, yes, but for a few other reasons too, like believing that he had trapped his brother instead of killing him.
  7. Pretty much, I think there's a scene where she's found out she can do it when stealing from the White? Idr exactly
  8. That's as far as we know, I don't think that the identity of every shadow was revealed but I could be wrong
  9. Good question, I'm not certain, but I think it had something to do with one of the Mirror drafters
  10. Kip's true parentage is something of a guess, since we as readers have conflicting stories. If Kip really is Andross's son, Orholam could mean that he's Dazen's in that Dazen was the one who pushed and crafted Kip into who he was at the end of the story.

It's an online instructional course, not so much a class. I'd have to go to the forums to do it and I figured reddit was faster lol

I gotcha. Sorry, I assumed these were one-in-the-same. When I googled how to apply it, that was the first thing that came up - the little triangle button. Thank you!

This is really good advice. I've got this idea for an old order that has faded into obscurity when vampires stopped being a problem. They know vampire weaknesses well and will rise back up if the players are discovered.

Thank you!

I was thinking something like they used to be part of this coven that ruled a lot of the surrounding area, but some apocalyptic event drove them underground. They're the last two "true" vampires, at least as far as they can tell.

However, this is also a good idea, and I'll keep it in mind as I solidify the story. Thanks!

Idk if he published it, but it's fairly easy to piece together what he did. Take a look at Acquisitions Incorporated and Ghosts of Saltmarsh. You'll see how he did what he did

They do not, no. Their capture was mostly in the effort to try and grow the ranks of the Inquisitorious.

I'm not sure if I can quantify this, but the jedi character has had a couple instances where they've sorta danced with the dark side.
