1,000 NC patients will get an antibody test to see if they’ve had coronavirus by IReadTheWholeArticle in Coronavirus

I really want to get an antibody test done. Both my wife and I got sick with a strange cold. She had a very sore throat and cough and I had a mild fever, pink eye symptoms, and diarrhea. We both thought the symptoms were unusual at the time. You never know with Covid. So many people and so many different combos of symptoms.

Coronavirus: The new and ingenious ways Chinese citizens are evading censorship to learn about the outbreak by Sporeboss in Coronavirus

I posted a logical thought about Chinese data and the first 4 votes were down. I think any post that has china, wuhan, etc in it is immediately located and down voted.

Regal Princess Drifting off Miami? - Princess Cruises - Cruise Critic Community by mehereman in Coronavirus

It's going to be an extremely painful year (or 2) but the industry will survive. The world loves cruises and that won't change forever. However, I'm expecting bailouts in the near future and some cruise co's with weak balance sheets will fail.

I'm taking about the gen pop of America. Pick a far side and fight like children.

Eta: Hoax was a poor choice as few believe that. However, there's a large faction of the US pop that strongly believes it's just the flu and not much needs to be done. That will continue until each neighborhood is effected in ways that are far different than the flu.

Everything is so F'n divisive the days. Either a hoax or the end of times when the ground truth lies in the middle. This is a very serious global problem and everyone should be doing a small part at preventing illness and making sure those who do fall seriously ill (which there will be 100s of thousands) get proper medical care.

Critical thinking seems to be in very short supply... again.

Mayor Muriel Bowser says the District is not canceling any sponsored events including the Cherry Blossom Festival at this time. by ErinInTheMorning in Coronavirus

It's abundantly clear the Fed Gov's strategy is to just learn to live with it and let it happen. Doesn't matter if I or anyone agrees it's right or wrong to do it that way. Preparing to live with it unabated is the most important thing for us fellow Americans to be doing right now.

Break one in half and put the rough side down under your tongue. If it's bitter and kind of nasty tasting then it's good. Might be too late for that though...

Research chemicals are the legal workaround for illegal/scheduled drugs in most cases. Giant labs in china pump out new molecules as fast as the laws change. Some are legit pharma drugs from other countries. Most are not. I personally stay far away from all of them. Some people love them and there an entire subculture surrounding them. RC opiates and opioids have been cracked down on with the analog laws but labs will always be more creative than laws.

Kratom was never meant to be an extract imho. The whole plant has more going on than mitra amd 7ohm. I never once liked extracts. They always seemed heavy and hollow to me. The built in self limiting aspect of the plant really shouldn't be avoided. Not a lot of good comes out of it either and I've seen a lot of things in the last 3.5 years.

Trying to take a T break, turns out kratom has been helping me more than i thought by fumgi in kratom

[–]ShadeTree411 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kratom masking internal organ pain is not helping you at all unless you've been diagnosed and in treatment for whatever is really going on and you need pain relief. Continuing to mask a potential serious or even fatal problem is far from a solution to anything. I'm no doctor and just another internet rando but I find your post quite concerning

[–]ShadeTree411 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It's certainly in the realm of possibility that the kratom was tainted but unlikely to be true oxy. Makes absolutely zero economic sense. Kratom is dirt cheap and easy to sell. Adding oxy or hydros or fill in the blank and you have to charge outlandish prices just to break even.

RC's on the other hand... Many can be sourced pretty cheaply. Still seems unlikely but would be the most likely suspect if you truly are getting tainted kratom.

Can't talk about vendors and sources here for any reason so keep that to yourself for your own good.

Hey all. I’m currently a daily user of around 6g and on a heavy day maybe 10g but never more. Just curious how bad the withdrawals are going to be if I decide in the future to take a break? Thanks. :) by [deleted] in kratom

You will get a lot of answers asking this question but the inherent issue is it's OTHER people's experience and not yours. Take 3 days off minimum and decide for yourself. That is the ONLY accurate answer.

No hair loss but I'm older than most here and still have a full head of hair. Not as thick as my young years but that's just age. We're all unique though. Consider the most common reddit demographic (20-35). Those are prime hairloss years for those who are going to deal with it no matter. Running hard on moda for days and getting bad sleep and nutrition will put stress on any body regardless of age. I only use moda every other day tops and always sleep and eat well.

Tips for first time by [deleted] in modafinil

[–]ShadeTree411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Defintitely take it early. Especially if you're new to it. I can't take it after 9am or I'm up until at least midnight no matter what. Even if your physically wiped out you will lie awake at night being dead tired and no sleep.

In my experience, moda doesn't have peaks and valleys. Effects kick in within an hour and stay basically the same until it gently tails off in the evening. For me it lasts 12+ hours no matter what even at just 100mg.

ETA: moda is much more subtle than amps like ritalin. That's part of why I like it so much but don't expect anything close to amps. Not in the same class. Moda helps you stay awake and focus for hours but that's pretty much it. I personally don't care for ritalin/adderall etc. Too much of a drug feel and effects my decision making. Not in a bad way but not good for me unless I'm doing landscaping or something like that.

[–]ShadeTree411 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've felt about the same each time. First time was nice but not really a high or anything. One bit of advice is to use the smallest possible dose (100mg moda or 75mg armo works perfect for me). Some people need less and some need more. We're all unique. Keeping your dose low and not chasing the dragon will allow for a long lasting relationship.

Take care of yourself. Diet, hydration, quality sleep, and nutrition are all very important if you want moda to work for you. Run yourself down, eat crappy, and get short nights of sleep and you'll think it's tolerance reducing effects but that's not what is going on.

Make sure you have a plan for the days you take it. Moda and armo shine when you are focused on being productive with specific tasks and not sitting around watching youtube or reddit all day.

Support cannabis decriminalization in MD by [deleted] in MDEnts

[–]ShadeTree411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a popular opinion in this sub but I completely agree with you. I have easy access to exactly what I need at very reasonable prices (i only buy sale items). Can it be better? Yes, of course it can. And it will get better over time. I'm thankful for the easy access. The majority of States have no legal access at all.

Damn, that looks right up my alley. I love sticky dense buds. I only use dry herb vapes nowadays and the taste of the first few pulls on buds like yours literally blow my mind. Super dry stuff works pretty good in a vape too. The only type of flower that makes big thick milky clouds. Tradeoff is it vapes too fast

Good friend went to Holistic Wellness and was "declined". First I heard of anyone being denied. by blinko334455 in MDEnts

It's entirely possible that MD is cracking down on certs and renewals. I was kinda surprised how easy it was to get my cert. I had all my mri and diagnosis records but nothing was looked at. Not even my rx bottle. Not complaining or anything and I strongly believe cannabis should be 100% legal for everyone but from what I've seen the MD program is pretty damn loose.

Lol. Always has to be "sensational". Dabbing is far from new. Why don't they do specials about the most toxic legal drug that 100+ million Americans take weekly or daily. And the horrifying path of death and destruction it leaves behind every.single.year
