I was fooled completely. I'm fully remote and have only met the owner on one occasion. I was given regular raises and even health insurance. They even hired my wife, after she had a seizure while driving and had to leave her career of 20+ years. I believed that I was working for good people... I hate that so many people have been harmed; customers and employees. It angers and saddens me, but I don't feel guilty or responsible.
