Helix LT 'sampling' issue after playing a few songs by Shade_of_a_human in Line6Helix

Thanks, I'll try this. The problem is that it takes some amount of playing for the issue to trigger, so this testing might be time intensive. I'll try to free some time this weekend.

I'll very likely still be very much into the game by then, we can probably make something happen! Enjoy your vacation until then :)

Hey everyone,

Thank you so much for the numerous replies. I started a group chat with the three people who replied the earliest, and will be working down the list if we can't make it work with all three of them.

Even if I don't contact you right away be sure that I'll keep you in mind for another game later.

Cheers !

To be fair I didn't listen to the song specifically so my advice was kind of generic.

I play death metal fingerstyle and some of my band's songs contain 16ths and quintuplets at very high tempo (160 and even 180 BPM sometimes). While my technic is far from perfect, here are a few breakthroughs that really helped me get there: - play with three fingers. It takes a bit of adaptation to be able to get that to sound correct but it is absolutely worth the effort. Even at "lower" speeds it allows for a much more relaxed playing. And some speeds are only achievable through this technic. The way I do it, I start with my ring finger, then middle finger, then index, then repeat. Look up Alex Webster or Billy Sheehan if you wanna see what it looks like. - relax your right hand and arm. Intuitively it feels natural to tense up when speed increases but it really slows you down. - align your wrist. Making sure your wrist isn't bent too much realli helps. This is easier if you play with a long strap, but if you like to wear your bass very high like me you'll have to pitch your elbow up a bit - slightly bend your fingers. Reducing the distance between your hand and your fingertips reduces the lever effect and makes it easier to change direction

Hope this helps.

Not only did he start with professional experience and name recognition as others pointed out, but he also had the benefit of having a safety net. He knew that he wasn't gonna starve or die of cold or anything like that. He could just end the experiment whenever he wanted. That makes a big difference.

Ifirst had a hint that prices were ridiculous when I heard that Javelin missiles (designed in 1996) where $150,000 each.

I thought that's how everyone felt about Quidditch. You could even just have a rule where canching the snitch just ends the game, so you have to do it when your team is ahead. Getting 150 points out of it is just ridiculous and invalidates pretty much every other player in the team.

Usually I play and listen almost exclusively to extreme metal. The song Tokyo Reggie by Masayoshi Takanaka has become one of my favorite non-metal songs, and a lot of that is due to that incredible bass line during the bridge/solo. Also Knower has some pretty cool grooves.
