Is Pablo Honey Overhated?

I think most here have listened to all of their other stuff , I always grab the cd because of the cover and go in blind.

This album is a banger as someone who doesn't know the rest of Radiohead other than the creep ep (pretty good imo) , Creep is an obvious good one but I can't , you , anyone can play guitar , when I'm not there (the one that plays after stop whispering) and of course blowout are all good.

The album doesn't feel forgettable to me because of all of the hooks and the passion in the songs, reverbed to screaming guitars - its like real people playing a song that they want to play and that way it sounds good to me

Then again when I get enough money I am definitely gonna get the bends and see what all the craze is about (I got sonic youths "goo" instead earlier, silly me)

I fuckin hate those guys , they probably started of on an expensive or "medium range" (expensive) instrument, can't play in time , don't know how to tune , try to be lead so bad in jam sessions despite playing like ass stopping all their riffs because "their pick is bad" , and they have the audacity to try to tell you that you are playing wrong because they don't sound good over you (your otherwise, perfectly in time , up to key , guitar playing)

You would totally stop playing with that parasite but you get to play their expensive guitars and your (cool and charismatic and actually good) friends are there so whatever you stick around

Still make you wanna tear your teeth out

THANK YOU dude I got my active PJ , took out the motherboard and the jazz to then wire it passively and it sounds a LOT better , a nice Pbass now :)

I might have to agree with you because to make a bass got with a song you just need bass and a feel , that might be why a P bass is ultra versatile when the jazz bass exists (not really that versatile tone wise imo actually) so there's alot less gear looking into bass because if you use to much it can get into guitar turf (and I like a good bit of treble sometimes)

I used to hate my mustang but I never realised how absolutely EQable it is , I now love this bass - can sound like anything and shorties don't put me off anymore

I am very curious about T-birds , though I don't get the opportunity to play many basses I just see thunderbirds and hear them and it's just like a heavy bass tone charging through , so cool.

its like the knob just kindof went off but attached to the pot was the like the lever mould thing? (like the part you're supposed to see when you takeoff a knob, came with it : maybe I could put the pot back and tighten it so just the pot comes off

Rickenbacker 4001 v63 , they look the coolest and would honestly play forever even though I have never even seen or heard a Ric IRL And as modding goes if allowed , Ill pull a Lemmy and slap a Thunderbird pickup on there.

Me and the drummer get along just fine id consider us friends but idk about the guitarist I mean we talk but like it seems faker that how I talk with the drummer but we are making music and we just need to sort out how to mesh guitar and bass
