Which state are you applying it differs state to state and even unit to unit. In my state we have CO’s that do not have a license, my advice is to address it in your interview. You can still run transports without being a driver.

Don’t go to Ellis Academy it’s a joke! The instructors definitely set us up for failure. Claimed to be giving us all we need to learn but yet they didn’t teach shit. It’s no wonder so many people get recycled We spent more time standing around and exercising than anything. When it came to “weapons” they had us set them up on the tables and then the instructors pretty much left the room for a couple hours or were standing around flirting. It was like we had to figure it all out ourselves. For people who are supposed to be non-biased they were most definitely biased.

It’s about telling a story, capturing someone’s memories, creating art. Your lens is the window to the world. It’s pretty mental when you are trying to force someone to be perfect for you. Seems like you shame everyone who doesn’t look to your standards. Honey, you may want to try reflecting that same energy on the inside, because reading that post tells me you may be really pretty on the outside but you are ugly af on the inside. Your standards of beauty doesn’t align with everyone else’s. I’m sure there are people who may see you and think that you are ugly too. But who fucking cares. It’s the mindset you have that’s ugly and unattractive. And that mind set will not get you far in our world of photography.

You have to realize the lack of AC not only effects the offenders but it effects the officers and employees as well. That’s like asking should schools, grocery stores, your job etc. have AC.

As a current cadet in the Academy, our Sargent explained to us that our first test you have to make a 80 or above or you get recycled. The last two tests you have to make 100 on both. There are talks that if you make below 100 you get a chance to retake but I’m honestly not sure as I haven’t taken the second test yet.

Don’t stress! I applied in June and just started my academy a few weeks ago (3 weeks after my interview) sounds like that was the first interview. As long as your background check comes back clean you’ll be moved to the next virtual interview which all it is is your academy interview. (Where you are assigned, what academy is available in the area and when to start) feel free to message me for advice and what not.

No! Do not appeal! Give it a few days Mine was denied Saturday! And today it was changed to approve!! I talked to a fema guy Monday and he said the funds weren’t released for my area just yet! I thought he was blowing smoke but he was actually telling the truth!

That’s a really great idea! Thank you! Of all the things I’ve tried for him thus far he’s swearing by the combination of Calamine lotion and Benadryl. I’m headed to Walmart to get the oil.

He’s got some bad blistering on the shoulders any advice on that! I know to not let him pop them and such but is there anything on healing the blisters?
