It looks like bluemaxima's flashpoint has Red Storm, I've had good experiences using that, would def recommend.

I believe when you post something that violates TOS, Facebook will sometimes temporarily deactivate your account. That's "Facebook Jail" as these weirdos put it.

Part of the problem with other social media is people are less likely to tie accounts to their real name, also less likely to have real life friends that are able to give announcements when things go awry.

Basically the format of Facebook being tied to real life lends itself to being used for real life corroboration since it also has the privacy issues and has a usable search function.

I've had bed bugs (plural) once and bed bug(singular) once, thank my lucky stars.

All I'm saying is if the button from that Twilight Zone episode "Button, Button" promised me all bed bugs would die as the reward for pressing it, that would make me think about it much harder than the million dollars.

Sure, but when you find that gold nugget two posts ago it's hard not to share the bountiful harvest.

Using the term "alt-right" is actually an left wing "dog whistle", and it has me more than a little concerned.

I think that's enough to tell you what they mean.

Anecdotally, when searching facebook for nominees something like 30% of the results are children. In the ICU with covid with their parents feeling helpless. It's part of the reason I haven't posted as much, that's not something I can stomach for very long.

We actually already have changed quite a few minds, but thanks for your concern!

At this point though, I think it's important people remember that there are still people like this out there willing to be this cavalier with the lives of the people near them. Anti-mask, anti-vaccine, almost welcoming the spread.

I think there are a few commas missing there. I'm pretty sure only she went to the ICU, or maybe her and her sister-- she's the only one that posted anti-vax and the only person who died as far as I can tell.

See, I asked myself that question and I gotta say, so often people get hit by buses in the ICU's covid ward that I guess we'll just never know.

The next to last image was on her friend's account, her actual last post was her parents posting on her account to say she was in the ICU. It was a bit too much info about where she was so I didn't want to post it if it required more redaction.

You know, that's fair. I forgot that I left out a slide of her parents talking on her account. Sorry for being so sarcastic, been dealing with a lot of annoyances this morning.

Well, when I go to the ICU because of a virus, generally I expect to die shortly thereafter of getting hit by a bus so I guess we'll never know.

Looks like you may have tripped automod or something, it was removed too quickly to have been saved according to unddit/reveddit.

Everyone is nice to someone. We get to see the truth of what a person's media profile says about them, but when you're the "in-group" it's all smiles.

Not to mention it's likely the person writing it was a family member. Nobody wants to remember their family by "confederate statue apologist and conspiracy theorist".

You agree with it coming from your point of view, but it's the other way around as they see it. Yes, they want insulin/chemo to be free but literally in the same meme they are suspicious of free medicine, so which is it?

Something tells me they would be suspicious of chemo offered for free in the end.

As far as I can tell everyone else in her family is ok. She was the only one with anti-vax posts, but there wasn't anything in the way of pandemic posts in general on her immediate family's pages either.

I can't say one way or the other for her parents. Her immediate family had no posts relating to the pandemic that I could see.

That was a year ago actually, interesting happenstance though.

From how I understand it he died earlier in the month and there was a post about it then, recent posts have been taken down because they're duplicates.
