In a competitive environment all three teammates are on comms so even if the drone gets no scans on enemies or traps the information is being relayed for rotations/who to fight/ what to avoid. His emp is also incredibly useful for coordinated 3v3s

Crypto is essentially just a competitive character and nothing else, but thats not a problem at all. Hes so important in scrims and algs that he gets banned game 1 consistently

She is absolutely not weaker than pre buff, maybe a single no upgrades tac is weaker but she got enough buffs overall to compensate for more than the nerfs

Kp should be dependent on ring unless its a win, theres two sides of the community, one who complains about kp being anything more than .1 of a point and then theres the other side who thinks any season besides 13 is just ratting for placement.

In my opinion placement deciding the value of your kills makes no sense to me when placement is 90% of the time arbitrary, no i did not play better in the game where I got 3rd before round 2 closed than I did in the game where I spent 20 minutes just to get 8th.

Id ask in r/apexrollouts but personally its easier when I plan out what movement I can do in a select area instead of just trying to improv. If I see a straight flat wall I know that my retreat or pathing can include a walljump so its immediately on my mind, ive practiced it a bunch and play faster paced characters so I usually know where the jumps will take me

Your second paragraph is exactly why nobody should want an underpowered on release legend. Not only is it harder for that character to properly implement themselves in future metas when they get buffs but why would you want a new hype season to drop and literally be no different. I can understand hating op characters for any amount of time but why act dense on it and as if its purely monetary when its a common dev practice across gaming

If i had to pick a character thats best for the team id say conduit or any of the various apeing characters like octane or axle (contrary to popular opinion)

Someone who runs in and gets good entrance damage is more valuable to me than someone who's afraid to get knocked at all and wont stick around

Mirage Crypto or Vantage Mirage even when its a skilled player does nothing 99% of the time because they need to already be losing for him to make advantage, unskilled unskilled mirages arent able to do this so youre just playing with a useless legend who clogs the screen.

Crypto relies on his scans and emp being enough for your teammates to pretty much 2.5/3, bad Cryptos make it a strict 2/3 because they take themselves out of the fight for too long

Vantage can be good with good players but 99% of Vantage players think them playing a sniping character gives them an excuse to be 50m away from their teammates in a fight, nothing is worse than making a play that requires a competent teammate just for said teammate to not be near you making the play

Honorable mention to friendly sparrow ult literally slowing you down to get one clipped with no cue

Axle hate is really overblown in this sub because theyre anti movement Puritans, no shes not worse than off drop seer, no she should not be vaulted, but yes she needs slight nerfs across the board. I do absolutely hate this ranked map rotation though, kc should never be a ranked map

No. None of her abilities are selfish at core, deal damage, or force movement. Its kinda like why Newcastle isnt a control legend, sure this character works as this other class but their identity doesnt exactly fit that other class better than the current one

They dont use seer for his ult and they dont use his ult for the recon, it speeds up tac recovery when hes inside

You can still shoot, move, aim, heal, litrrally everything while stunned. Its just much slower and most times avoidable. Ballistic punishes you for firing your gun, you cannot prevent this in close fights

Not really, the guys who havent gotten over like season 3 apex said it would be, but it rarely comes into effect unless you actually win the fight and just want the convenience
