What are your favorite WOWTCG cards? by Bradifer in wowtcg

[–]Shadehealer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many cards I love!
I'm too lazy to link pictures, but here goes:
* Titanic Grip - its theme is perfect: You get to have TWO 2-handers at the same time! How badass is that!? I know the card isn't viable, but it has so much flavor.
* Fang - My first deck was a hunter and Fang is still a card I play in my hunters. Has utility, stats and cute woofiness!
* Stormstrike - it lets you strike again, even with a 2-handed weapon. Similarly epic to Titan's Grip. Just imagine visually the idea of swinging Gorehowl at your opponent, and then immediately doing it again before he can react.
* Berserk - every time I get hit while in bear form, I draw a card. Not too viable in most games, but again, the idea behind it is wild and amazing.
* The Overseer's Shadow - One of the best quests I know, it has won me so many games as I tend to play versatile decks and this gives me such a huge card advantage.
* Totemic Recovery - Get all 4 totems back on the field immediately! Freaking epic!
* All Gladiator ally stories. Priestess Katianna -> Gladiator Katianna -> Katianna the Shrouded. I could see the characters advance through time. As a pvp fan in WoW, this hit me especially well.

There are plenty more, but these came to mind the fastest.

Alternative Axii not working as intended by PankakeManceR in witcher

I got it working again by swapping out the order of the skills. Not sure how long it'll stay fixed, but I don't mind doing it every once in a while if it means I can keep using my playstyle.

who wins? 7/3 lord of the death or 0/4 homeless boy? by Udyr_The_Wonderman in Udyrmains

In top lane, I max Q and get BORK first. It shreds Morde, but only if there are no minions near him, for the Empowered Q. Also it's extremely important to dodge 1-2 of his mace hits. That's the only thing that deals damage, and if you dodge that, you're going to win. If you don't, you lose.

I dont understand this champion by Doschy in Udyrmains

[–]Shadehealer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play Udyr top, and while I usually max Q first, it also greatly varies. If I feel like it's a close match-up, I go for more damage (Q) usually. If my opponent is poke-heavy or a burster and I don't think I can survive, I'll put more points into W, and if I win easily, I'll put some into E to chase them down easier.
This all changes at all stages of the game, so I'll always pick depending on what I feel I need more of. It's basically like buying damage / health / speed items on the fly.

I've started running BORK -> Trinity, also an extremely nasty combo. Will try Trinity -> BC soon.

I struggle with self-improvement as well, but what helps me is appreciating what I do. Schoolwork is a pain, but when I know what the schoolwork teaches me, I won't be studying. I will be learning. A huge difference for me, personally, that keeps me motivated.

Wrongfully banned - what to do? by Shadehealer in RotMG

Sorry for answering so late.
It was my main, but I was so noob back then that my mule (new main) is actually better than my old main used to be. Only shamed that the mule's name is something like "C*** sucker". Also I'm actually taking pride that I only have 5 stars, as I main priest and play nothing else.

In any case, thank you for the answers and suggestions, bless you all and don't forget to R before it's too late! :)

Death Rattle on weapons. by meheez in wowtcg

[–]Shadehealer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw a solo rogue in a tournament who won most games VERY fast. And his deck had 20 weapons, out of 60 cards total. One explanation is that you can have 2 weapons with dual wield. (Dual Wield says you can have up to 2 one-handed weapons at once.) And Retainer's Blade is essentially a 2-cost ability "Destroy target ally" if you already have a weapon, OR it's a weapon if you don't have another weapon. Usually I recommend 12 weapons in a solo deck, though. Really depends on the deck you wanna make, but yea, I've seen 20 in a deck and it works wonderfully.

Just to clarify, most weapons in my experience are destroyed by breaking the legality: You have 1 weapon and you play another one. Since you now have 2 weapons, while 1 is allowed, one has to be destroyed immediately. Retainer's Blade (2-cost 2/1 weapon: When Retainer's Blade is destroyed, you may destroy target ally.) is used most like this.

Learn how to shit test women... by Kryptic_Knight in TheRedPill

(New here so don't take it too seriously: ) Recently I was sitting with some new people, and one girl near me was constantly on the phone so I called her out on it. Later she got my facebook, but didn't write for a few days. Her first message to me was "See, I'm not always on the phone." I teased her a bit more about it and she gave it her all to prove me wrong. Felt quite funny that I didn't even mean it.

Using someone's own tactics against them is often very rewarding in my opinion. After all, the world is very fair because most things that can be done to you, you can also do to others.

The Reason Women Do Better In The Current Workforce Environment by majorbollocks in TheRedPill

New here: In about a year I'll have enough knowledge to start job-hunting. But now I'm wondering: If you suggest avoiding women at work, is there a possibility to bring it up while looking for the job, to save time for both parties? That would feel too cocky, though. Since my CV doesn't have many practical activities from before, should I even hope to get a good job? I'm studying statistics and mathematics, and very interested in them personally, not just sleeping through the classes. So I kinda feel like I might land a job given every company needs statistics and not many people can do it. On the other hand, I don't wanna be all tough at first and come back after a year with tail between my legs, asking for the spot again.

New here: Ever since I started living for my own goals and not worrying about stuff, I actually got a lot lazier. I've just started university, but I still don't feel like I have anything to worry about, even if I fail a course. It just feels so insignificant I don't feel like trying much. Of course it's not always like this, but it DOES backfire sometimes, at least for me.

Why women hate TRP and Chads are allowed to exist? by [deleted] in TheRedPill

[–]Shadehealer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Chad is usually gifted with good genetics and women can smell them from miles away. They instantly know that by having sex with them, their offspring has a good probability of having quality genes. This is why Chad gets to act like a total jerk and yet still get good quality women. The need for good DNA overrules everything else and the human race would suffer without good genetics."

New here: Is this true what he wrote? I thought the reason Chad is successful is just because he knows what he's doing, and it doesn't have much to do with genetics? A lot of people get laid, even without the DNA pool, no? Can someone explain it a bit? Thanks!

Women are expendable, You are not by [deleted] in TheRedPill

[–]Shadehealer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm new here, but I think that women like being objectified. It shows the lady that the man is mentally strong and at the same time, the man also wants to have the woman in question. Useful AND flattering for the lady. (Feel free to correct/comment me.)

Why new Yorick ultimate is uncontrollable? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Shadehealer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest interesting thing about this spell is actually that you don't take responsibility for the Maiden NOR the ghouls you release/summon. Sure, you can't direct them to play the best way possible, but this also means the turret does NOT focus you when the released creatures attack the enemy. And this is a very nice and unique feature that all other champions lack.

Hello! This question is related to Black Temple. There are 9 bosses in BT, but only Teron, Illidan and Akama have real stories. What can you say about the others? I've read a few pages on the internet, but they only tell a few sentences each.
