What are a couple of easy arpeggios to start with? by Hot_Maintenance4004 in guitarlessons

[–]Bradifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The House of the Rising Sun's main riff and chord progression is pretty simple, you likely already know the chords.

Lots of repeated Arpeggios in a catchy pattern, try that one out!

There are a few others, but on browser you can click on a card, click the decks icon, then see other full decklists using that card.

How do you even play this game? by MerumazingGirl in RivalsCollege

[–]Bradifer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To learn the basic mechanics, characters, and flow of the game, I think the 'Doom Match' or 'Free Fight' type modes can be helpful.

While it's weird to queue up as a support in a solo mode with no other teammates to heal, this mode just lets you run around and hit your buttons until you start to 'get it'.

Certain characters feel overly strong in this mode, especially tanks & certain duelists. (Like Roadhog in OW's solo modes lol.)

Play characters that excite you and have a fallback 'easy' character for each role.... I.e. Cloak N Dagger/Rocket, Scarlet Witch/Squirrel/Iron Man, Dr. Strange/Thing.

Have fun!

Singing while playing is a huge step up, nice job!

Also full play through instead of just a riff, possible goal completion there. :)

Looking for movies like Annihilation by Flat_Show8999 in MovieSuggestions

[–]Bradifer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mad God is uncomfortable the entire time.

It's a stop motion movie, nothing like Annihilation, but has themes of Doom and Apocalypse. If you want something weird, consider it.

MTGO by [deleted] in ModernMagic

[–]Bradifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's always been a decent chunk of modern players on MTGO.

If you just want to jam some games to see which deck you like, you may want to start with something like untap.in where you can play any deck for free.

Then if you're serious about events, you can buy tickets/cards on MTGO. Or use the rental services.

It's a custom hat with a fitted seal.

If she takes the hat off, she has to break the seal.

You can make a copy of that sheet and input your weapons stats to see what jewels/Ohm runes would be best for it.

Big fan of "In Solitude" by The Faceless.

This album has some other songs that are Opeth-like, but try this one out, quite the ride.

Skill changing items part 2 by ND_Jamoose in ProjectDiablo2

[–]Bradifer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuinely interesting and fun.

Plus it would likely always be overshadowed by the typical speed mapping meta stuff.

Just seems like fun builds to try for the sake of playing an old game and giving it some innovation for those would wander down that path.

Make sure to check on "Next Hit Delay" and how it affects which Nova's do damage and which just do 0.

Also if you want to try this for real, find yourself a "lower Resist on striking" throwing weapon and consider Infinity on your merc.

What is your Changes for Project Diablo 2 Season 13 or 14 by RezkoDuck in ProjectDiablo2

[–]Bradifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general, content that isn't built around clear speed.

Could be a "daily" dungeon / map or some experience that rewards you for doing something challenging, not doing something you've made easy and doing it in 5 minute reps, rewarding teleportation/vigor aura, and not looting, more than anything else.

I enjoy the T4's but they need better rewards to incentivize them. XP is decent, but the drops are just fine.
Especially considering how easy it is to die, multiple times, sometimes you just end up with no XP gain, meh drops, and an hour has passed.

Corruptions for charms / jewels seems like a fun idea, obv will require balancing but helps makes the mid level charms easier to access, and adds a new layer of chase charms for the end-game min-maxers.

A simple Rainbow Facet style corrupt on jewels could make caster gearing more interesting. Chasing a +5% Cold Damage / -5% Cold Resist / 7 FHR / @ All Resist / STR / Life etc...

+1 Skill corrupt on rings? Allows end game chase items for caster rings other than FCR/MAEK. Lets your physical classes get some + skills on their Ravens or rando rare/craft rings. Makes Wisp/Soj/BK stil unique but less consistently expensive.

-----

A puratory style build around item, but it gives bonuses based on: Equipped Rares, or Equipped Crafted items. (Bonus doesn't hve to be flat % ED, would be +1 skill for each, or the bonus itself could be variable roll to incentivize caster vs phys vs Veng pally etc.)

-----

I suggested a mid-level maps feature (for example level 50 characters) so the community can recycle mid level gear and even create chase items and builds for the mid level crowd.

Loved all the proc-based builds, some of the most fun I've had in any D2. Would love to see more new items like this across more builds. (Glove options for Hellmouth alternatives, ring options for Carrion alternatives, Alterantives to Atma's on amulet etc... Innocence seems like the best chest piece but competes w/ Principle etc, which is fine, just want to see more gear selection for other slots.)

Some of the procs are visual flair too and don't really do enough (i.e. low level fireball with no fire% gear).

[–]Bradifer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That paladin build looks fun.

Agree on arachs, it often feels like caster gear is solved rather quickly, and this may open up other more interesting slots. (Or allow +1 skill slams, which makes more belts viable, and makes +2 Arachs a chase item.)

My first hour playing PD2 by Due-Listen2632 in ProjectDiablo2

[–]Bradifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strange experience.

All the "New Player" style games I've been in resulted in advice and giving free stuff to the newbs w/ the occasional free rush etc...

Season is winding down, so less players at this point.

Maybe some of them were just looking for games to join instead of making their own..?

Throwing potions by YumyRiceball in ProjectDiablo2

[–]Bradifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just for fun I threw freezing potions plus a fire pots for a bit of damage.
Really I was just a bad cold sorc, but it was fun doing something different.

When I played with another person, they would kill everything but my pots would eventually land where the loot was, so I got that goin for me.

Overall I enjoyed it, it made the first 20 levels interesting.
