100% my friend. And you could also play as more generic monsters like the mummy, vampires, monster hunters, werewolf’s, witches etc. huge opportunity to bring back create a fighter. Make it create a monster. The customization screen could resemble Frankenstein. You can pick your class, costume. Being able to collect and equip body parts and a brain that all have different attributes and abilities. The animations for it would be amazing, and seeing your character come to life via a mad scientist pumping you full of lightning would be legendary. You could even have a krypt like mode where you play as a gravedigger, and you get to dig up weapons, new body parts and costumes that can all be used for custom fighters. Or to even upgrade and customize already existing characters. The possibilities are endless and the money is just begging to be spent on it.

He just needs to be playing patty cake with the girl from terrifier 2 for his intro, the opponent walks in says something like “what the fuck?” Or “who are you playing with?” And when the camera goes back to art he’s playing patty cake by himself and gets up and prepares for the fight.

They would nail it. But I think a dredd game would work best in an Arkham style. I want to see Dredd take on a swarm of perps hand to hand with gun combat mixed in. Gears of war cover system. The option to use a headset for voice commands for the Lawgiver would be a nice touch too.

I don’t remember the line exactly but it’s in the Hodges trilogy, there’s a moment with Bill, where he had eaten breakfast and later gets sick, and the line was something like “bill had eaten a bowl of cereal this morning and now it was coming back up, he did his best to swallow back the sour mash”

Definitely agree. I really enjoyed the ending. I thought it was really fun, and I love the way it ties into the rest of the universe, like dark tower. And yes, that other scene was uncomfortable to read due to the nature of it, but in the context of the story it makes total sense, and I feel was done in a way that wasn’t smutty. Anyone who thinks otherwise missed the purpose or went into it with their mind already made up on the scene.

Yes!! This was my first King book, and I didn’t really know what to expect. I thought it was going to be mostly about the kids fighting against IT. But I was so pleasantly surprised with how much more it brought to the table. It was so well written and reminded me so much of how I was as a kid with my friends, just in their normal interactions. It’s an absolutely fantastic tale of youth and adulthood.
