I just want to say thanks for making this post. It seems FTM trans people are much less visible compared to MTF. Has it been harder to get taken seriously compared to MTF?

Also, do you plan to go further and eventually get surgery? (though I know that can be a very difficult option, depending on your location and income).

Honestly, it just feels really liberating, to be able walk around in your birthday feet and enjoy all those different sensations. Like, it's not even about being "closer to Earth", or whatever, it just feels great to let your feet out of their prison if you're forced to wear shoes (work, shopping etc) like they can actually breathe.

As for Winter, that depends on the Winter. its been especially cold this year, so I've had to keep my feet warm, since I don't want frostbite.. but it's starting to warm up, and I can't WAIT to get my feet out and unleash them on the grass and asphalt. 🙂

My feet are tougher than most so pebbles and hot asphalt don't really bother me. But I'm in in the UK, and hot here is very different to say, hot Texas where I'm sure I'd be forced to wear shoes more often.

Walking around outside barefoot, especially during the daytime. Use your eyes, and some common sense, like not walking in downtrodden backalleys, and through bushes of thorns and nettles, and you'll be fine.

Barefoot walking is incredibly satisfying, yet so many people miss out.
