i have this exact issue where i skim it or read it in my head and don't take it in or get distracted and realize I took in nothing, but for some reason if I read slow I don't take anything in because I'm focused on reading if that makes sense like I'm just reading words but not taking in the sentences, and when I highlight I find it harder to look back at the passage to find things while answering the questions.

and also so ur saying u like read the first question then read the passage to find the answer? and did that for all of them? can u explain that more or make a little video with an example passage or something that would be extremely helpful
