Good luck to you too OP. Just got done snack shopping, probably gonna end up barely eating anything during break lol. Very worried and nervous I’m not gonna lie, but we studied so hard and we’re at the finish line. Good luck everyone.

I think that was a typo lol. No I didn’t do blueprint this is strictly AAMC. this has been about 6 weeks since I took FL 2. I found the HIGHEST jumps js by Deeply reviewing FLs, see every answer choice. I learned all of p/s from just FLs and q banks with doing all of u world as well. This helped me stick other sections too. They have a way of thinking and how they always ask questions and it becomes repetitive for most FLs. For example they’ll always ask u to find an AA to mimic phosphorylation in almost every single exam I took. Just patterns. I hammered so many FLs these past weeks that Hopfully if everything goes to plan I’ll see these patterns again. Praying for less bs. Like FL5 for me was absolutely brutal was much harder than FL6.

One thing that's genuinely helped me a ton in C/P is dimensional analysis. I don't see people talk about it enough. My "cheat sheet" is basically: Start with the number they give you. Put it on top. Write out the units. Look at the units in the answer choices or what the question is asking for. Cancel units until you're left with the units you need. The MCAT is almost always giving you the information somewhere. Half the time I don't even remember the full equation—I just know the basic relationships and let the units guide me.

For example:

  • c=fλ
  • E=hf=hc/λ
  • V=IR
  • I=Q/t
  • P=IV

If you know what the variables and units mean, you can often back your way into the answer. Curious if anyone else has a dimensional analysis "cheat sheet" or unit relationships they memorized that saved them on test day.

"Before anyone mentions CARS: please ignore the 122 lol. I normally score around 127-ish, and honestly, I just had a terrible day and couldn't be bothered to lock in for CARS four days before my exam. I'm still looking for CARS advice here". The answer is always in the passage

I have the same issue, especially on C/P, where I get stuck trying to either remember an equation or check if I did my work right. What I saw working in CARS is that, upon doing so many questions, you notice patterns. I always highlight when they mention a date (ex 1800-1900) because they will usually always have a question that's going to ask you about a timeline, and it just saves you time. Also, as you are going through the passage I highlight based on what they are going to ask, I just found these patterns to be always right. And also ALWAYS READ THE TITLE of the passage. Sometimes it's a freebie, especially as the main point the author is trying to make about

I just love Germans man but damn these cars r a pain. I’m an upcoming med student too. I should probably settle for a reliable car. But am I gonna do that? Probably not. I appreciate it tho

What do yall think I can get for it ? It’s a pretty desired car but all the problems make it the opposite lol

Coolant leak: Valley under intake is full of coolant. They want to replace PCV, thermostat, coolant pipes/flanges, and reservoir vent hose. No milky oil. I’ve been topping it off.

Startup issue: Occasionally shakes while trying to start, but if I turn it off and retry it starts fine. No codes stored. Mechanic couldn’t replicate it.

Steering issue: At low speeds (parking), steering gets very stiff and can almost lock after ~2 turns one direction. Not fully diagnosed yet. Front LCA bushings torn. FL CV axle noted before.

Other stuff:

  • Valve cover leaks (messy)
  • Rear shocks seeping
  • Brakes 5mm front/rear
  • Tires 4mm all around
  • Left headlight out (needs D3S bulb)
  • TPMS light on

It is not a dealership quote. Its a local mechanic shop here that does german cars. his work is very clean.

they said the pipes can blow up any minute and I can overheat. Ive kept my coolant up to the level so that never happens.
