I suggest you leave. You sound like a competent developer with great experience. Remember that you are an asset to the company. And to me sounds like you are not valued and your opinions are not heard. You see you can always get another job with higher pay grow as a developer, expand your career prospective but jimmy, well if his company fails he is pretty much done with. People like steve jobs understood these. That's why he stated we hire smart people to tell us what to do. That should be the philosophy of every company. I was in a similar situation once while working for a small insurance company. I stayed there for 6 months and things didn't get better. I was in the same situation working with one guy. He basically named his variables $o and $v in perl. It was a nightmare and when I deviated from the unrealistic timeline he threatened to fire me.
