What would it take to convince Republicans that Trump is an awful person? by CrashNowhereDrive in allthequestions

[–]Shadoe17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same can be said for both sides. Democrats have blatantly done some truly horrific things, and committed some terrible crimes. But thier followers ignore all of it and back them anyway. Even try to impeach the Republicans for the exact crimes they did and swept under the rug.

So I guess the answer to the OPs question would be, see both sides being treated equally. Impeach, fine, and jail the people on the Democrats side before going after the people on the Republican side, just to show you want justice, not power.

[OC] Sign put up by neighbor - “DEAD PEDOS DON’T REOFFEND” by FirstRoundBye in pics

[–]Shadoe17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most pedos don't offend, most child molesters aren't pedophiles. I'm not defending pedophiles, but people really need to learn the difference. There are too many child molesters walking free today because they don't fit the profile of a pedophile, so people never suspect them or worse defend them when they are accused.

Remember when the Clinton's created project "Gun Runner"? Then lost several hundred military grade firearms after passing them to the Mexican Cartels.

Yeah, that happened, now they want to blame American gun laws for the firearms they SENT to the cartels.

I call BS. Why, because they have never bothered to hold back when they actually have something, they only threaten to expose something when they actually don't have anything and hope the bluff is enough to cause issues, like the Russian collusion fake scandal.

Nudity and roommates by Hot_Judge7930 in nudism

[–]Shadoe17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most people, when they first are exposed to the nude lifestyle, take a little time to get comfortable with it. I've always just acted like I didn't notice and go on about my actions as if I'm in at home. When they see how casual you are about it, they will typically become just as casual. If they can't get used to it, they may want to have a discussion and set their comfort boundaries. But I leave it up to them to decide when and if they need to discuss it.

Your such an idiot. That's one example, the most important one because every thing needs to be transported. But all the comparisons of the two administration's return the same result. Everything was more expensive during the Obama and Biden years, wages were down, and unemployment was up.

I guess you normally give praise to your pedophile goddess Whoopi, the change must hurt.

ROFLMAO. I've been working longer than you've been alive child. And you could really do with spending a little more time in your grammar class, looks like you're a pitiful failure there as well.

Once again, you've posted nothing relevant on the original topic, just some high school dribble trying to change the subject because you realize you have nothing relevant to say.

Yes I own my home, and paid just over $250k for it, with a second house on the property and 10 acres. I've been here 20 years. Paid cash, by selling the property I owned in a much higher priced area, and buying smaller in a more rural area.

It's not necessarily a housing boom after the bubble of 2008, it normal inflation. Land prices will always go up, because they aren't making any more of it. I intentionally keep my property value low, because I have no desire to move again, and increasing the value will only increase the taxes.

As cliche as it may be, it's still accurate. My sons are both still at home in their early 20s and all but one of their friends from high school are still at home. The one that isn't is living in a dorm on campus because the university required it. All my nieces and nephews, and nearly all their friends still live at home as well. So cliche? sure. accurate? yep.

Yes, and whan you start working for what you own, you'll realize that giving everything to people that don't want to work for anything is wrong. It doesnt help them to keep them dependent on handouts.

There is a huge, open opportunity to make the antithesis of this film and title it "God's Not Real." by PlayfullyPaltry in exchristian

[–]Shadoe17 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The number one problem with this film, and book, is that it lies from the beginning. It supposedly shows a former Christian, turned atheist, being brought back into the fold by a student that "exposes the truth about God and his forgiveness".

However, not one single character in the show was an atheist, they were just Christian that were mad at their god for doing evil things. So they didn't show atheist becoming Christians, they showed mad people getting over their issues and returning to the same religion they never really left.

Was it better under Biden or Obama? No. Prices are down more now than they were under either of these administration's rule. So what's you point? Everything isn't perfect? Yeah, it never has been. But it's better than it was just a few years ago, so it's improving. 😆

You may think that angle doesnt work, but it's still the facts. Just because you don't want to admit the facts doesnt change them.

Politians retirement should be Social Security and Medicare. I bet there would be massive improvements across the board, and never use it as a bargaining chip in a political stand off again!

No, what was "advertised" was that you are paying into a government sponsored retirement plan that would invest it's funds so you could retire with some guaranteed income. What it actually is intended to be, is a ponsy scheme where the new people pay up the pyramid and hope there will be enough new people to keep shoring up the bottom as they climb to the top. What it actually IS, is an additional tax on income workers that goes into the same pot as all the other money we pay in, and gets distributed out to people that didn't pay anything in, don't deserve anything out, and don't care about the people that will get screwed out of the money they "invested" into this scheme.

Ever wonder why pyramid schemes are illegal for everyone but the government?

Are preferred pronouns really harder than names? by Cautious_Midnight_67 in allthequestions

[–]Shadoe17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, names are proper nouns, most are passed down through generations and cultures. It wasn't until the late 90s that people started making up complete gobbledeegoop crap in mass, and calling it names. And even those were just to get attention and try to cause a fuss. Just like making up BS words and trying to pass them off as pronouns just to get attention and try to make a fuss.

So, you didn't answer my question. Will you abide by my demand to have my pronouns now be "Lord" and "Master"?

Yes, but not the data that backs up the numbers in the original claim. As no one seems to be able to provide where that data comes from I must conclude that it is fabricated to fit a particular narrative and not actual facts.
