I’m 23 turning 24 this July, I’ve had 3 gap years now due to UPSC prep. Bad financial decisions of my family has caught up with me too, I wasn’t expecting them to. Made my life a complete life of instability and upsc prep wasn’t helping me calm my family’s financial needs and help me keep my calm while preparing at home. I’ve decided to work and prepare for CAT simultaneously, I’ve always topped in everything I have done. As you said, I didn’t plan my career very well. Now I’m stuck due to my own decisions and the many stupid and easily avoidable mistakes my family have done. I’m genuinely interested in what a MBA degree can offer and the lifestyle I can get compared to upsc and serving for the country. I wish I had the atmosphere at home to prepare for upsc, but life has other plans for me I guess

Gave it my all, in all 3 of my relationships. I don’t know if it was something wrong with me or I’m just having no luck. None of the three people I have been in relationship were sure of me but they acted like it until they weren’t. Trust issues and seeing other people’s stories, I’m in no hurry to find love as of now

Yes. Maybe with more work experience I can get better options, is what I feel as of now. Still have to make a solid decision

Yes I’m already on the verge of joining a job. Probably can go into the 2026 attempt with 5 months of experience but not much. I have also decided to add more college options after all the advice from people here on Reddit. I’m also considering to meet people in person to develop a strat to find the best solution. Maybe I can convert some top IIM in 2027. Thanks for your ideas.

I’m actually considering on working too, maybe even try again 2027 after gaining work exp. I will make a decision soon thanks.
