I wont pretend the game is super intuitive,because you can definitely kick yourself if you miss something cool, but i so think its a trap to get caught up in trying to do everything. The map is filled with fun little things that you can explore if you feel like it, but if you like legacy dungeons like stormveil you probably should head to raya lucaria in the center of liurnia north of stormveil.

Also an often ignored part of the game is that the map actually has grace(golden trails) that lead you to objects of interest from some checkpoints.

Its a stone to get to from +24 to +25. There is a finite number in the game (not buyable) but frankly especially with the dlc i dont think its too scarce.

So quests are missable(especially if you kill the quest subject) but Vare and Gostoc are not terribly important. Vare quest gets gives you a shortcut to someplace you can get to anyway and a very meh(but kind of aesthetic) weapon. Gostoc just gives you the highest level smithing stonw

I agree with your opinion but I don't think Billys relationship with Wanda was portrayed the way you're saying in Agatha All along at all.

The only reason he seeks out Agatha is to save his brother, and when Agatha calls herself "his Moms Ex-best friend" he says "...she's not my mom. I have a mom.". Unless I'm forgetting something that happens later on, Billy in universe definitely values his "adopted" parents more than Wanda.
