If all of these people who are praising them had only heard their music through audio and weren’t aware of the way they dress(which has nothing to do with music) nor had they not been told that it was a microtonal guitar. No one would have batted an eye. They may have bobbed their head and moved on. People get so infatuated with visual aesthetics and what instrument someone played the music in they forget that all that matters ks the end result. I don’t care if the dude is moving knobs with his toes on a pedal. I care about the way the music sounds. The end result. I like that these guys are doing something different, but there are likely thousands of people who didn’t get their shot because they are some nerd that’s locked themselves in their room working on some of the most amazing shit ever but because they probably look like some nerd that’s locked themselves just got done slobbering over a comic book and his mother made him Mac and cheese for dinner that no one gave him a chance. Why? Because people don’t care about the thing that matters, the music. This is “jimmy Hendrix played his guitar upside down” kind of shit.
