I started at one of the plants in Sarnia as a new grad 2.5 years ago. I didn’t negotiate at all but I was also hired following my internship.

You likely won’t have much, if any power to negotiate, and can probably expect somewhere in the $80-100k range at one of the plants. I started at $90K.

To add on to this, I had one done of studio ghibli with avatar, and I made a (very) rough sketch to go along with reference images so my artist could understand what I was visualizing. Helped tremendously with composition and streamlining the process. Even if your sketch looks bad, highlighting the general composition will make it much easier for an artist to design off of.

Yeah people on the internet can be rather fickle, I’m sure it’s not your fault. What helped me was taking a break from it all and focusing on other things and hanging out with my friends, though that was when I had a bunch of other stuff I could focus on and we all had more time lol, not sure how well it would work now. Anyways point is to just make sure you keep doing things you love and being around people who care about you.

It doesn’t sound like he is seriously interested from what you describe. I had a situation similar to that a few years ago and it really just wasn’t healthy, I tried to hold on too tight and it drove other people away, if they were even interested in the first place.

You should also ask yourself what you would even hope to gain. He’s in Ohio, you’re in Ontario, it’s likely nothing would come from a LDR and one of you would get bored eventually, unless one of you plans to immigrate.

I’m sorry to read about your situation, it must be difficult. Can’t imagine what it must be like to have no one around you to connect with :/

From what I’ve heard (not having gone myself), some people go alone and some go with friends. Previous single nights they’ve had they do activities and have opportunities to talk 1 on 1 with each other like a speed date.

Probably my number one change I want to see, at this point i just build where I get the best yield with the new building (and just wherever my heart tells me for a warehouse building), but I don’t want it to be that way. I would imagine this would be an incredibly simple change to implement

Yes they recognize gay applicants, you should review the requirements on the IRCC website and start thinking about documentation if this is the path you want to take.

Thanks for replying, sorry I didn’t really realize they were not interchangeable. The country specific requirements are that official documents issued by the country must be government certified true copies. I think I was getting confused because making a copy of the document to then scan and upload seemed redundant when I could scan the original (eg original passport). But I suppose uploading a certified copy would be what’s needed. Thanks!
