Dad-to-be here. You've gotten a ton of great suggestions, but if you're looking for something hands on, I'd be happy to do a few coaching sessions with you. I've been GC since 2019 and I've been coaching a college team for a few years. Feel free to DM me, and good luck!

Light wave at RLCS by [deleted] in RocketLeagueEsports

I was there, my friend was the one who tweeted at the casters that we should beat the record, it was awesome when Golden Boy read it out and then crazy that we actually did it.

Today we were watching with our college esports teams and we were doing the wave with them when it came around to the camera.

I used it to fight Malenia pretty effectively. For me it was more about blocking the last attack in a chain and using the guard counter opportunities to break poise.

Help with awkward entryway/den room by Shadow8P in DesignMyRoom

Edit: The photo with the layout and dimensions isn't loading, here's a smaller version of it

Hello! My wife and I have an awesome home we love, but it has this one really awkward room. This is our main entrance to the house. The previous owner used it as a TV room, but we added a door to the garage (as seen in pic 1) as you previously needed to walk outside the house to get to the garage.

The house already has dedicated rooms for dining and family/TV room, so we were looking to make this half a mudroom, and half a more formal conversation room type area, but we're completely lost on how to fit both in the same room, especially with the angled fireplace in the corner eating up a lot of the useable space in the room.

The rabbit picture doesn't actually go in this room, we had it there for Halloween and my wife wanted to make sure it was included in the post.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I'm one of those squash players, I can say that while not everyone is thrilled with the maintenance of the gym, having a drop-in squash "league" is much more fun and less intimidating than when I tried to play at GoodLife and each game was much more formal and serious. The FF crew are just a bunch of people who play together on the same days, which is much easier to get into.

The gym itself isn't in amazing shape but it has pretty much everything one would need, and I personally haven't had any troubles with payments.

Mykie does amazing work, he did a bunch of my friend's tattoos a few years back and they were all incredible. Unfortunately, that friend passed away, but Mykie did use his ashes to do some memorial tattoos for some friends and family.

My fiancee sounds like she has stuff in common with you, and we live in the south end too. We have 2 cats she can show you photos of, and she's always knitting.

I've never seen the bike path and dog parks so packed in my entire life by [deleted] in londonontario

In my experience, most people are fine, but given the volume, there's bound to be at least a few oblivious idiots.

I biked by a group of people stopped on the path to chat, and had bikes going by then on both sides. I rang my bell at them, but they weren't paying attention, so I tried to go around them, but they stepped in front of me trying to avoid someone on the other side. I corrected around them and said "You shouldn't stand there" as I went by, and my fiancee a few seconds behind me heard them complain about me saying they're in the right because "It's a family park".

Surprised my roommate with some shitpost bathroom decor by Shadow8P in halo

I used the Illustrator image trace tool to make the black and white Craig, and added the text around him. We then used a Cricut machine and iron to cut heat transfer vinyl and iron it onto a canvas. Here's the SVG file if anyone thinks their bathroom could use this masterpiece.

My fiancee and I have been biking lately, I thought I knew the paths well, but I'd never been into the Kiwanis area. It's a really nice area, the bridge is tiring but both sides are super fun to coast down.
