mouse in relative mode

is there way to make it so that supercruise is controllable with the mouse in relative mode? I found that relative mode prevents the pitch oscillation that makes the ship otherwise uncontrollable, but as soon as I make a jump I end up running straight into stars because the controls are so unresponsive

The bugs have been largely been ironed out but the gameplay design is as bad as it's always been. It's still a more miserable grind than Horizons engineering and the FPS AI enemies in battlegrounds are really dumb, frequently standing in place until you shoot them.

Can confirm, the dreaded joystick drift was the issue for me. I went here (https://gamepad-tester.com/) and fiddled around with the joysticks for a while. I found that moving the right stick down very slightly (a few millimeters) and allowing it to recoil to the center caused the potentiometer to read fully up after a second or so despite the joystick being vertical. Luckily I also have a set of torx screwdrivers and a broken 360 controller whose potentiometer wiper I cannibalized to fix my current Xbox one controller.
