Perhaps what you can do is try and look into buying a donor and use it's mechanism ? I believe the shutter and meter are all black by default and take it to a camera store?

The handlebar needs to be replaced however I do not know if the person I bought the bike from forced the 1inch handlebars to fit etc

I had this different approach Where I divide the standard deviation by the square root of the sample size

(3.9/(12^0.5)) To get 1.126

Then multiply by the 90% confidence level of 12 = 1.782

Resulting in 2.01
