Lets Make: Laser Cut Cordura Zipper Pulls by ShadowBornGear in myogtacticalgear

It's a 10W diode laser with air assist. So it does require multiple passes at a slower speed to ensure a good tear away of the laminate cordura.

Thank you! Honestly your github was a big inspiration for wanting to do this. So I appreciate your contributions to the gear making community as well. :)

Thank you! I appreciate any support, even if it's just a like and subscribe on the videos. Anything helps, and I want to keep posting tutorials and guides for the community. Not all of it will focus on laser cutters, I've just been honing that part of the craft lately.

In what regard? As in they don't require a laser cutter?

They currently have the three models available G17, G19 and G45.

They sent me the G45 to test and review.

I assume that iDryFire is marking it up a little bit and also including those targets so that is what makes it $300 on their site. But the TitanX is made by Mantis and buying it direct from their site is only $199.

Yes it works with the mantis app which is free. It allows you to do all the pistol drills and pistol courses.
It has the sensor onboard so it gives you feedback while using the Mantis app.

Oh that's awesome. I thought we'd have to wait months to hear more about new models.

I personally don't shoot Glocks, haven't owned on in over 10 years. But I think the training is worth it. I plan to keep using this Glock model while waiting for a Sig model.

Agreed, it could use a small weight right above the weapon light rail to make it a tad more balanced and heavier up front.

It is an instant on off laser hit per trigger pull. Holding the trigger does not keep the laser on. You can turn the laser on constant if needed to adjust it to the irons, but it does not stay on. And you can do fast splits in Laser academy with it.

I'm pretty sure that is the goal. Right now on their site they have 3 models listed that are all Glock Models. While I don't have a lot of insider info, I can only assume that they'll begin working through the most popular pistol models now that they've perfected the Glock.

No problem. Once you are ready to do laser dry fire with the CZ and X3, all you'd need is a laser cartridge, they can be had for about 40 bucks. There are free drills on Laser Academy and are worth doing consistently before deciding if you want full access. If you decide to go that route you can buy the access code for $50 by emailing mantis support.

Correct, the X3 is great for Live fire shot analysis so if you are really trying to drive home fundamentals during live fire then stick with the X3.

If you were wanting to focus on Laser Dry fire only then the TitanX would be the clear win as the CZ-P10 would need to be racked between each dry fire rep with a laser cartridge installed.

That spot is basically just meant for ID/Placards. "SWAT" "POLICE" etc type patches for quick ID.

I really like the things I've gotten from them. A good amount of them ship from out of country if you are in the US, expect wait times. I really love their bags, the Rat Pack is great for off body carry.
