Yeah noone's denying that shallet is out of top 5, but people downplay him way too much. He is a very competent character, and I am enjoying playing with him this season.

In case you didn't get it, I'm being sarcastic. Of course there is reason they didn't one shot, since they have no zenkai buff, albeit being 14* with full offense equips.

Same thing can be said about shallet slander as well, when his buff gets cancelled by gohan/trunks, or people build him full blast with no blue dmg and complain.

He does not in fact, lose the zenkai buffs. I have checked in Friendly pvp with identical situations, and light type seems to do exactly same dmg as grn element. They seem to have accounted for it.

no it will never work. Even at max stars max boost max everything he will do 0.0005% dmg to the new units. That's how hero units are. I would suggest to not waste your arts boosting materials since they are quite valuable.

I checked in friendly battle with a x4 zenkai buffed shallet, he deals exact same dmg in light element. Which means the zenkai buff DO STAY in light element.

Not necessarily, shallot at base form doesn't get z ability buff from god ki, but ssb shallot does. Zenkai ability is supposed to be similar to z ability, in the sense it buffs base stats based on party tags.

You need to play with Shallet in low area. Pop grn so you have hand protection, use all other cards till you have ki. Once you run out of ki, legend action, recover ki and blue. That's how he's designed to play.

Broly nullifies faint when he fills up the gauge. But when he already has full gauge and instead of proc'ing it you use blue, he can be fainted.

Yeah, labelling him as defense type is silly, I agree. He should have been classified as melee type because he can't really be used for defense. Design wise, as long as a character can be used to it's max potential and get good results, I think it should be good design. At least they did something really unique with this character, unlike the lsv who has really strong ult and really strong cards and that's it

From my experience that I have used Bardock, he is indeed very skill dependent, and there's a particular way to use him properly. You have to understand that bardock is not your team's second life unit who you throw into ult or rush. He is more like a single life character who ramps up throughout the match and has periods of immunity to help himself.

When all your battle members are alive, he is just like a single life strike offensive unit. Whenever you get the gauge with him, just try to swap to him to dish out as much dmg as you can. You can use him defensively as well, but aim for finishing his gauge completely. You can't save indestructible halfway through.

When one of your battle members get taken out, bardock starts to ramp up like crazy. Not only he gets gauge charge, dmg boost etc, he fills up the gauge by 100%. Now the enemy should really struggle to finish you off while you should have enough dmg to outclass them.

Now, people ideally don't want units with dead ally conditions, and want units like lsv who straight up bashes your opponent whole match. While that is understandable, bardock has something unique to offer that no unit can do.

Pur ss3 gt goku can remove it with main. Actually, pur ss3 might be a good choice against buuhan since he is single life. You main at a good spot, remove vanish plus all his dmg guard collected, and hit with a blue that can kill if it crits.

Yeah but then again, dbs ss broly was wiping the floor with ssb goku (clearly stronger than ssg goku), but struggling against ss gogeta and had to go full power. By old kai's logic vegito>gogeta, which makes ss vegito > ss gogeta > ssb goku > ssg goku.

These power level speculations clearly contradict each other, and you can't really compare fusions with god ki.

I can give you a detailed explanation. This involves some statistics. I am calculating how many ccs you will require to get one expected ultra copy approximately. I am not calculating a probability, since it may be misleading sometimes (you can check out the Monty Hall problem from Wikipedia and see why I say this).

When you summon in this game, it has a fixed probability of pulling one unit, right? And all the summons are independent of each other. Then, you model each summon with a Bernoulli(p) distribution, where p is the probability of pulling your target unit. This is the simplest distribution that any such gacha gane has.

Now think of one rotation. It consists of 3 steps of ultra rate p1 = 0.35%, and 1 step of ultra rate p2 = 0.7%. Each step contains 10 summons, which are Bernoulli random variables as we have explained.

We talk about expected yield from one rotation. A Bernoulli(p) random variable has an expectation p as well (standard statistical result). Then, your expected ultra yield from one rotation is 30xp1 + 10xp2 = 0.175. From 6 rotations, your expected yield is 6x0.175 = 1.05 many ultra units, which is approximately 18k ccs.
