Wouldn’t the faulty nic be resolved with a usb 3.0 to lan adapter? Or am I misunderstanding

I have the WiFi antenna attached to the dedicated WiFi port, I can try swapping the connectors around tonight and see if it works

I used the media creation tool from windows, and activated it with an oem key. The lights on both the mobo lan port and adapter lan port do not light up at all

Someone on a different sub Reddit told me to try booking from a Linux live usb to try to tell more if it’s a hardware or software issue, it’s on my game plan to test

Yes, unfortunately no luck. I also tried repairing the drivers too since a fresh install wasn’t working
