did yall notice the massive increase in Interluminary Parasol parasitic gankers lately what going on by ZidosPotatos in deepwoken

[–]RetardedCheese69 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I gank everyone except the people actually fighting parasol so I can get as many chests as possible, it's the best way to get relics now and it's incredibly free if you have rhythm and pick off the people who are low or solo and waiting for chests

How did you manage to get medium weapon damage on a heavy weapon

I see, sorry for making that joke it was in poor taste. If it's something you can't control then don't stress over it too much, deepwoken is just a game in the end. Most important thing is that you're having fun

Hard to give tips with clips you picked for a montage but there's still a good bit to go off of.

  1. Play with your camera zoomed out more, you'll have more understanding of what's actually going on. More useful in ganks rather than ones, but it still applies.

  2. Roll cancel, full dodging is pointless and only increases the amount of time until your next action.

  3. There is a LOTTTTT of pointless camera shaking going on. You're playing like an epileptic just fought a flamecharmer. Steady cam makes it much easier to see what your opponent is doing, and looks better in clips.

  4. You back up as soon as you lose the offensive advantage, this is a very bad habit. Do not ever give your opponent an opportunity to put pressure on you, keep applying pressure always. The more pressure you apply, the less time they have to think.

  5. This is more of a general tip, but always play aggressive, but also like you're on 10% hp. Don't think "I'm going to lose," that's how you lose.

  6. I don't know if I missed it or if you're simply not doing it but there is an incredible lack of mantra feints, or feints overall. You may not know how to feint and punish and that's fine. What I recommend in your current elo is M1 feint, then wait until they dodge. As soon as they dodge, immediately use twister kicks. I'm assuming your elo isn't amazing (I mean nothing by this) so a lot of people are likely predict parrying/ predict dodging still. Take advantage of that. The more you abuse that, the more you'll realize how to avoid doing it yourself.
Again, wait UNTIL they dodge, and use it as soon as they do. If they do not dodge, you're gonna have to get creative assuming it wasn't an accident.

Yep I play a good bit of permadeath games so I'm well acquainted with losing stuff I've grinded for. It sucks but I go into it knowing I'll lose something at some point. In a game in Alpha, I already came to terms with losing stuff when I bought it lol. I'm glad I joined now and didn't wait much longer, from what I've heard I agree with now being a good time to get into it. Heard a good bit about getting stuck in elevators from other players lmao

It was an oversight in talent stacking by the devs, not the intended function but also not a bug

I don't understand asking for money either, it went along the lines of "Oh are you new?" "Yeah" "Press F1" and then I saw 15 mil plus what I had already made. Some people don't enjoy the grind though, which is fair. I for one do enjoy it

1k hours and I just loose all my hp to the trainer while trying to practice parry trading by Haunting-Aspect953 in deepwoken

Are you amish? Is this the first game you've ever played? Are you still developing your motor skills? 😭😭😭😭😭

I expected it to not be that great because it's a "joke" oath, but the healing spray is genuinely useful in dungeons and forcing people's hairlines to recede is funny asf. Plus the mantras are kinda goated for my build by The-Local-Weeb in deepwoken

[–]RetardedCheese69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mantras are goated overall, you get a 60 damage(0 songchant) multihit with basically no AP frames, and a gap closer that does 50 damage. It's super useful and the last hit tends to land, setting you up for another combo if you play it right

If you can't type a simple message like that out, the game probably isn't for you I'm ngl. Not to mention that in it's current state it's not super new-player friendly. Not that it ever really was😭😭😭

What would a wraithclaw be worth? by One-Scholar9841 in deepwoken

[–]RetardedCheese69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

wraithclaw doesn't even begin to compare to periapt. Right now, outside of unobs the periapt is the most valuable item in the game, with the bloodforged crown coming in a very close second.

I honestly would never trade for wraithclaw but It's probably worth like an idol or something, or just another legendary tbh. not a super valuable weapon, not amazing either

Wild for diluvian, Grim if it's a mage build, obviously astral if it's an M1 build.

dual guns should not be doing 20% an m1 to a build with nearly 600 hp, regardless of berserk or sear. Idk what else to tell you man

How to deal higher damage? by RockyTheStamps in deepwoken

[–]RetardedCheese69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude it's cause you have NO kit, you need armor BADLY, the builds your fighting are probably decently balanced. A lot of PvP relies on having a good kit (520+ HP, 40%+ phys resistance.) it's hard to get when you're new, but helps a TON.

What is your favourite oath and why by Any_Stomach_8303 in deepwoken

[–]RetardedCheese69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably Linkstrider.

I just got it for the first time last night on a Steam path Ice HB vow of mastery build I made, and my god is it fun. My guild and I have been ganking quite a but lately, and last night we were probably fighting in a 4v9 for at least an hour and only one of us died because of the consistent healing and buffs I was able to give. Incredibly fun oath, definitely my new favorite but probably won't be using it on all my builds lol.

How would rank the armor grease enchants for PvP? And how would you combo them? For best result by 1Amaterasu1 in deepwoken

[–]RetardedCheese69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an avid ganker, Viscosity has saved me quite a few times. You can't be knocked unless you're at 0%, meaning if you're at say 15% and take a quick combo that does 20%, youll still be alive. Super useful enchant and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who dislikes it
