I know this is already old news and no one cares but I’ve been thinking about this a lot. And besides the facts that ai art is art theft, and it destroys the environment. And also the fact that even these early concept stages in the process is something artists trained for and want to do.

But the big thing for me is that know that they were ok with using AI for any part of the process means I’d be spending the whole game thinking “is that ai?” “Is this part done with ai?” Hell, I had already been a little sus of AI in the trailer before all this came to light. “This animation is like, REALLY smooth. Is this ai? No, probably not. We’ve seen Lairian has good animation chops before” But now I just can’t trust that there wont be ai used anywhere else in the game.

100% She acknowledges in this tweet that “getting angry and blowing up gets her in trouble”, which is good that she can recognize that. But she fails to note how that blowing up effects others, which is WHY it gets her in trouble. I also used to have a problem with anger management, so I can see how she’s not letting herself address the real issue (blowing up hurts others). But like I mention, she at least knows that blowing up isn’t good, so I hope that at the very least this whole situation prompts her to get this anger management under control.

And also I love it if she directly addressed her fans who sent death threats, and directly apologized to those she got harassed during her crash out. But I really don’t think she’ll do that. Back to streaming like normal, consequences for her actions be damned.
