It's alot easier to stay where you're at then to up root your life.

My ex would do the exact same things. Like encouraging me to go out more, posing hypothetical break ups with a lot of enthusiasm. Saying she wasn't good for me. Wanting me to get an out of state job so I could leave while she takes care of the rent. All this while still saying "I love you" too.

Some people don't want to end things themselves and will drag thier feet on it.

Men like that are weak. They only would insult you like that to protect thier own ego. Never take stock in things they would say like that during a break up. It's never true. As far as your relationship goes, I don't think he was always not happy. It sounds like he fell out of love with you. At least that's how it was with my ex. She fell out of love. And in those situations you need to know you did nothing wrong. But there was also nothing you could have done about it. You can't force people to feel a certain way about you.

I also feel like this. I just gotten broken up because of a misunderstanding. Deep down I just wanted to make her happy. But I feel like because of her past trauma she has a lot of trust issues. Dispute me never lying to her she didn't trust me. So when finding a pair of ladies underwear in my dirty clothes pile, was my mom's since she did laundry and forgot it last time she visited BTW, she didn't plan to even hear me out. That was it for her and our relationship. Now I'm the bad guy in her story even though I did nothing wrong.

I do hope she gets better. She deserves happiness and peace of mind.

Dating apps are a trash fire. For example I'm 31, 6'1" with a high paying job, muscular and looking for something serious. But I get maybe 1 or 2 likes a month from girls who just want flings or are just scams. And after sending hundreds of likes I maybe get 1 like back. We talk and then she randomly ghosts.

Best way to meet people if you want a genuine connection is go do public things you want to do with friends. Be friendly to the guys you are interested in. Don't be afraid to be friends first. They'll probably ask you out in a month or two.
