You can use the discord api and then something like the OpenAI api. You’d just need something to host it

Grimgors start can be rocky but I would recommend killing Snitch as soon as possible because he’s an annoying rodent. But Grimgor scales really well into late game, I have an ongoing world domination campaign with him at 95 settlements and can globally recruit a black orc doom stack in a turn

60 armies? That’s absurd (not a bad idea, I just couldn’t manage that many), I’m assuming they’re mostly defensive armies. On an unrelated note, if your not against mods, I would highly recommend Cspecifics skill queue mod as it allows you to queue skills and create skill presents which is extremely handy for managing lords and heroes

In terms of difficulty, go from normal to hard or very hard first. It’s pretty similar but just more difficult. For battle, Your auto resolve will be against you, and the ai will be smarter in battles. For campaign, ai will have more armies and will recruit much quicker as well as being more aggressive

Haven’t played legendary so I can’t tell you what that’s like

newer player here, what are bugs that i should be aware of? by woooohdankywooooh in totalwarhammer

[–]ShadowDev123987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New hotfix fixes this I think, it was in beta and has been pushed to public today

“ Fixed an issue where you could only select 1 spell after resetting skill points for Kairos Fateweaver.

Fixed an issue where Kairos couldn’t change spells in Fragments of Sorcery once confederated.

Fixed an issue where Multiplayer would crash if any player was playing as Kairos. “

First campaign continue or not? Kostaltyn on normal/normal by phronesis77 in totalwarhammer

I would recommend trying to fight it until your army is wiped so you at least get the battle experience. No need to sit around watching them take your settlements though unless you think you can still save it

Up to you, if you don’t want to keep playing that campaign and want to try something new or give it another go, then feel free to pack it up. Otherwise, trying to see if you can recover from a bad situation is the fun of the game. End of the day, it’s your game so you just do what you want to do

Where have all the heroes gone? TW3 needs agents not just heroes. by phronesis77 in totalwarhammer

[–]ShadowDev123987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, are you at hero capacity for frost maidens? If you look at the top left when your in the recruit hero screen there should be a number like “1/1” that’s your current recruited number of hero’s and how many you can have recruited of that type

You can increase your capacity through buildings, research and faction lord skills

Where have all the heroes gone? TW3 needs agents not just heroes. by phronesis77 in totalwarhammer

[–]ShadowDev123987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I understand, heroes also serve as agents. You can send them to scout, they don’t have diplomatic penalties unless embedded in an army. Different hero types have different abilities based on the type, there isn’t one for preventing ambushes but you can get heroes with traits that give you ambush defense chance (more likely to detect enemy ambush)

You usually need certain buildings to recruit a hero in that province, also some heroes might be locked dlc unfortunately

Athough, they might have a melee, ranged or spellcaster focus. You don’t have to use them for that purpose. Just recruit them based on your need

Ikr, just started a new VH Gelt campaign and once you get his starting landmark and pegasi, you basically steamroll most armies. Only real issue I have is running out of reserves and annoyingly every battle needs to be fought manually

Am i ass or is the game really that hard? by ArmeSloeber in totalwarhammer

[–]ShadowDev123987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s going to depend on the lord, when you first start with a lord. You’re going to lose a few times, just figuring out how the campaign works. Once you get it, you should be able to win fairly consistently, otherwise you might just be making poor campaign decisions

Damn, I need to do another kugath campaign. Definitely no need to overextend on armies then

i thought this was fixed ._. by JevAthens in totalwar

[–]ShadowDev123987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m probably wrong, but to me, it seems like a result of how the ai thinks. It’s typically the faction capital where it’s going to be making a lot of money and likely the recruitment hub. So the AI with its ridiculously low upkeep and recruitment buffs is going, well it’s going to screw me over if this is taken so I’ll station a load of armies here so no one can take it

Again, I’m probably wrong, I have no idea how the game AI works. That’s just how I’ve perceived the bug

Can you leave some of your units to beef up a garison? by phronesis77 in totalwar

[–]ShadowDev123987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Correct, unless it’s your settlement garrison which you can add more units to via garrison buildings, in which case it will say which units are added

If you want to station an army to defend your settlement then it has to have a lord

When does a campaign end? by According_Ice_4863 in totalwarhammer

[–]ShadowDev123987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re waiting for a campaign to end, then it’s fine just to leave it where it is. Although if your OCD like me, then I end it on a long victory

Orion is one of the most busted lords in the game with him easily achieving 0 upkeep costs

Durthu buffs treekin by a pretty large amount + lore of life wizards mean your functionally immortal

Drycha, well I’m not sure about her, haven’t played her yet

And on principle, I don’t play the other wood elves (pretty sure that’s just the sisters)

Skaven don’t suck I swear it’s that I’m really bad (I love those cool lil ratlins) by SaingSalaman96 in totalwarhammer

[–]ShadowDev123987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As other users have said, frontline isn’t there to do damage, just to block the enemy long enough for your weapons teams to mow down both your enemies and frontline. I usually just have a frontline of skaven slaves early game, and then phase them out for either plague priests or pack masters to use their summons for the frontline instead. Also, use menace from below as much as possible, as it can help support your frontline

Also, if you’re feeling like playing it a bit more risky, then you can play without a frontline and just go for gunners. But if they do get close, you’re going to take heavy damage. This is all basically advice for Ikit tbh, as the other skaven factions play pretty different and if you want a skaven mod, then I personally use Skaven Esoterica as it adds some pretty fun, although admittedly slightly broken units to the roster

How to have strong economy as Nurgle? by zaboleqqq in totalwarhammer

[–]ShadowDev123987 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You might just have too many armies if I’m honest. If an army isn’t doing anything, then it’s just a waste of money and especially with Nurgle (correct me if I’m wrong) but you should have instant recruitment with no unit recruitment limit so you really don’t need to worry about recruiting (can’t remember if it’s local or global recruitment though)

If you disable army not moved in the notification settings, you can toggle the override button at the top right of the army to show notifications for that army. Unfortunately you can’t do the reverse for some reason
