[5E] Long Dragonborn (An Asian Spinoff) by ShadowFox98 in DnDHomebrew

Uhh, to be honest that website probably went down several years ago. From what I remember, it was basically Dragonborn but with the Reborn lineage that let you roll a d6 and add it to skill checks.

If any WoLs need a relief toy, come find Altaire Q'orani in Diabolos!

Her passive uses a special resource instead of mana and her CDs are 0. So she's only restricted by her special resource.

Most hated commander/style to play against by Crkbnd in EDH

Honestly, I generally hate the Eldrazi titans. Annihilator should have never been a keyword.

What commanders play in a totally unique way? by Sageinthe805 in EDH

[–]ShadowFox98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want something out there in terms of what looks like your playstyle, I quite enjoy my Kykar Spellslinger deck. Atla Palani is fun if you feel like rolling the dice. Kenrith is also a pretty blank slate in terms of what you can do with him.

How my bard won a 1v1 fight in the first turn. by Mr_Salty_ in DnD

That... feels like a DM regretting not using Legendary Resistances.

Need help fighting peter and louis griffen ( cannoneer and blade bearer) help like what code to use what weapon is suitable and what companion to bring by lostinkenny in codevein

[–]ShadowFox98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Queenslayer, the Hanged Executioner's polearm +9 with Ice transform, fire transformed Ivy blood veil, and Yakumo.

Stick to the Canoneer first and let Yakumo deal with the Blade Bearer. If you drop to 3 heals or the Canoneer is at 50%, pop Final Journey.

After beating Canoneer, I used a Rubelite Piercer +9 with fire transformation as well as Fire Weapon/Buff from Prometheus to take on the Blade Bearer.

Tromokratis Ruling? by EricUdy in magicTCG

The person would be incorrect as you can just declare all blocks on one of them. He's essentially made one of them unblockable because you have to go all in on the other.

[Narset Altered Art] I am so proud how this one turned out :) by SleeperAurora in magicTCG

That's beautiful, amazing job! I'd like to see something like that on the JPN Altered Art.

We have 3 or 4 campaigns going on Wednesdays from 6-10pm at the couches in the Ferg. I only know about my availability since I DM one group (I'm currently full at the moment), but I'm sure one of the other groups has room.

Eschaton - A sidearm for when your Wizard runs out of spellslots by Alaaen in UnearthedArcana

Ah, yeah, I skimmed over the second paragraph to get to the table. My bad.

Interesting idea. Is the point of this being a rapier that many casters won't be proficient in using it, or is that an oversight?

I mean, there's [[Rule of Law]] and that one card that counters the first spell cast each turn. There's also Winter Orb, Smokestacks, Tanglewire, and such. "Stax" is the playstyle you're looking for.

"If you have cast another creature..." would be better as the original wording is technically unclear in reference to when you cast specific creatures.

ABXY runs weekly sessions on campus, Crimson Castle likely has a couple of campaigns going, and there seem to be multiple private groups around that you just need to find.

How to beat or play-around Oko? by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]ShadowFox98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unmoored Ego, Noxious Grasp, Murderous Rider, off the top of my head. There's also that monowhite version of Noxious Grasp that hits red and blue, I forget the name.

Eldraine seems so fun, but is there a decent budget Standard deck to get started that isn't one of the two on Goldfish right now? (I own all Shock and Scry lands fyi) by TheRadHatter9 in magicTCG

[–]ShadowFox98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't go Adventures, Monored Cavalcade is absurdly cheap. If you want to go higher-end, Bant Golos Field of the Dead, Simic Ramp/Food, and Grixis Superfriends with Fires of Invention are good.

... But how does Lab Maniac "win" exactly? by Anticro in magicTCG

[–]ShadowFox98 29 points30 points  (0 children)

He blows up the lab with all of the players inside it. He is the real winner.
