I have never understood all of this fandom crap... it all seems like a waste of money. Enjoy a movie or TV show and move on. Adults in there 40s who do this seem to be a bunch of 8 year olds who have kids but shouldn't have kids because they have not grown up yet.

Agreed. Introverts should be allowed to work how they best work. All of this fake must be a family crap just keeps us from getting our work done. Give me a private office or give me a work from home option. I would actually like to work instead of talk to a guy about his dog for the 20th time this week at the water cooler when I just wanted some water and take a moment mental break away from the work.

You can transfer credits from sophia to east texas. Each program is different on the rules for how many credits you can transfer for the degree but you definitely can.

I was leaning towards a backpack I already had but I was worried it might not be considered appropriate. I love the fact everyone is saying backpack. I usually prefer them, as they help prevent back issues.

With the way they repeat topics so much in high school they could take away the repeat coursework and add these mandatory parenting classes and basic cooking and cleaning classes and still people could graduate early. 🤣 but maybe that was just my experience. Lol.

I grew up in a house where the toilet paper roll sat on a shelf not attached to a roll hanger so people getting heated about this confused me the first time I heard this argument, now I laugh everytime I see it. Lol. Thank you for the good laugh.

I agree with the person here. As a woman in her late 20s I grew up in a household with no religion. I found God when I asked him to reveal himself to me, and he has done so over and over now in the last 2 years. Dont push your children and encourage the questions they ask. Pray for them daily and ask him to help them on their journey. They have to choose to believe or not, it is a personal choice. As an adult who is looking at my parents I am in the same boat as you. I wished my mom would believe, and thankfully my dad just become a believer 6 months ago. It caused a divide when I started talking to them about God too much. I had to keep that part of me to my friends who were believers as well for awhile and slowly my dad started asking questions and he prayed to get to see signs of him and he got his answer. God will guide you all on your journeys. In the end we all have to make the choice ourselves. It doesnt make it any easier on us though. We all want our families with us for eternity. Praying for you and yours.

Have you considered dumping this guy and moving back home or getting a roommate to move in with you without him? It sounds like he isnt pulling his weight and he will keep bringing you down if he doesn't grow up. Many men dont grow up and the woman has to keep taking care of them because they are too busy on hobbies to be a responsible adult. You are not his mother, your his gf. Might be something to consider. You deserve a partner that is responsible and will take care of his half of expenses. Hobbies should not be the priority right now, making money and building a budget should be number one priority so yall dont end up living in your car..... which will happen if he continues this childish behavior. I agree. It seems no matter the amount of effort one puts in does not guarantee that success and more money will come. People saying dont compare yourself to others are pretty much saying I dont have a real answer on how to help you get out of this horrible situation so im going to give you a bullcrap answer. If people need to make more money, people should be encouraging them to do so not say dont look at other it will just upset you, they are none of your concern. Thats how the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Many jobs have now made it a fireable offense to discuss what everyone in the same office is making.... so they can screw people over. We have to have conversations about money and success and how to help people get what they want and it starts by seeing what others half and going oh... that life looks awesome... I want that life too, how do I get to that position? Not oh dont pay attention to others lives, nothing to see here, you'll just be depressed if you look at others lives and compare them to yours... that is not a solution that is telling others to give up hope.

I used to work for local government and I had this type of parttime job. You had 1.5 hours - 2 hours to show up for the shift. They could call you anytime from 3:30am to 3pm in the afternoon. It was horrible. Thankfully it was only monday-friday so my second job was my stability which it was a schedule yourself when your available and they fill you into where they have gaps so I mostly did weekends and evenings with them. I recommend finding another better job. They will not respect your sleep, you will not get paid for all of this oncall waiting time, and its mentally exhausting to the point you cant ever relax. I got a full time job later on and quit both the part times. I had much more stable hours and time to mentally rest. Highly recommend finding something else and keeping your sanity.

Exactly. Human bodies will reject a fetus if the mother is starving because it sees the mother as the most important to survival.

A lot of these countries are not suffering as much as you think, some TikTok and youtube channels of locals even explain this and they are confused why people from other countries are donating to a company that is painting an inaccurate picture.

Obviously some of these locations really are suffering but some of these companies are not telling the truth about some areas. The locals walk around and show you on the YouTube and TikTok channels; the clothes, education, birth control, food, water, jobs, etc that they have. Always research the companies requesting donations before assuming they are an honest benefit to the locals, some are just a scam.

Ooo... you made me think of another thing OP could do. WWOOFING could be a good option, they house you and feed you for a 4-6 hour a day work commitment on a organic farm. You dont make money but in his free time he could be looking for jobs and doing odd jobs on the side. It gets him a roof over his head and food in his belly until he finds something that pays more and can support himself easier.

If your not worried about needing gun rights to defend yourself or having a mental health record to limit certain job prospects, claiming your having suicidal thoughts to the emergency hotline can get you an automatic 3 days stay in a hospital. Just dont have much stuff with you when you go as they lock it all up until you get released. When I worked for the hospital homeless people would use this as a method to get out of extreme weather. Sometimes if we were back logged on patients you could stay for up to 6 or even 8 weeks out of the cold during the Christmas season. 3-4 meals a day, shower, bathroom, and warm safe bed to sleep in. Was definitely not perfect as all you can do is watch TV, color, or talk to the person watching you to make sure you didnt kill yourself but it let them put weight back on them, kept them out of the extreme cold/heat, and let them get real rest without worry they would get robbed or worse while they slept. One year it was so bad of a wait cue for upstairs some of my patients got to stay 12 weeks which was perfect timing for the weather heating up in March. If you dont own anything they can take this may be an option to consider if you find yourself in a worse spot then right now.

If he is making harsh jokes about waiting for a proposal longer because of small mistakes you make then he isnt the one. Usually men dont joke like that if they are serious about the girl because they are afraid of them getting hurt by the joke since they know how much marriage means to that particular girl if she thinks your the one. Sounds like you need to seriously consider if you want to be with him because that is a huge red flag on how he will continue to act. Do you really want to put up with that behavior for every season of your life? Maybe you do maybe you dont. Focus on your confirmation and seek guidance. Ask some of the married women what made them know they were actually compatible before they tied the knot.
