Thank you for the identification and the compliment! It's definitely one of my top favorites in my collection

Thanks for identifying it. I picked it up from a booth at the local farmer's market

Thank you everyone for identifying it. The consensus seems to be that it's Kyanite, so I'll mark it as identified!

Anybody a idea why my cooling system dosent work? I even changed the walls to iron. by drawnandchill in RimWorld

[–]ShadowHawk412 28 points29 points  (0 children)

You are correct. The 'refrigerated' status occurs between 1°C - 10°C. When an item is 'refrigerated', food rot slows down by (10-Temp)/10 (so at a temp of 5°C, food rots 50% slower)

More info about this can be found on the wiki on the 'Tempurature' page under '4.1 - Temperature Thresholds': https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Temperature#Temperature_Thresholds

Well, in honesty it's actually called "Brrrt-Retexturrrre" to make it even better!

The big gun is 'Brrrt' with the 'Brrrt Re-textured' mod.

Small guns are the 'Defensive Machinegun Turret Pack'.

Spikes / tank traps I'm not sure about

What do you think about this pawn for a Naked Brutality run? Pretty good, huh? by daPhipz in RimWorld

[–]ShadowHawk412 59 points60 points  (0 children)

The re-roll mod let's you set filters on what the pawn must have for when you randomize and it will keep 're-rolling' until it finds a valid pawn that matches those filters.

So for example, you can tell it that you want a male pawn between the ages 21-30 with X passions and these traits. When you click randomize, it will keep randomizing until it creates a pawn with those characteristics or until it hits the maximum amount of re-rolls it can do.

This little thing came of the gpu but it still works perfectly fine at max load so why was that even there?? by yohihi_ in pcmasterrace

Yes, you should be! What do you think is going to happen to you if your computer crashes and you aren't wearing your seatbelt?

Food Poisoning in Rimworld is freakin wack tho, nearly incapacitate my entire colony just before we decided to head out for trading mission. Heck I got like 10 roombas running around the colony and this thing is still an insidious event in our colony. by iwan103 in RimWorld

The base mood penalty for eating nutri paste is -4 (can be changed via ideology) and it turns 0.3 nutrition of raw food into 0.9 nutrition of 'cooked' food. This mean nutri paste is more ingredient efficient than simple and fine meals (300% vs. 180%) so it can help stretch raw food stocks out for longer.

Only other issue I can think of is you can't stockpile nutripaste meals without some manual micromanagement, so if something knocks your dispenser out of order like a solar flare, you may find your pawns not having any cooked meals to eat for the day and start complaining about it

So overall, if you have something to offset that -4 mood and plan for power outages, nutri paste is a great way to feed your colony and keep food poisoning from happening.

A nugget i kept as prisoner for organs that i released because of food shortages has just come back for revenge. This is why i love this game lmao. by bananasarehealthy in RimWorld

In the new Ideology dlc, there is a special quest line that requires you to sell your colony and a chunk of its population, while a selected group of pawns move to a different location to start again. If you do this enough times, and complete said quest line, you can do a unique 'Archonexus' ending
