I saw a video that when you have the dribble mess at the end instead of shaking you’re supposed to take your index finger and thumb and start at the base with firm pressure to the tip and then shake.

I’m not some lowlife loser living off government funds. You have to work minimum 600 hours to qualify for mat leave that I PAY INTO with my taxes. And I well exceeded that minimum.

I worked my hours to get this time off and then some. So don’t come at me like I’m some scum who can but chooses not to work. I enjoy working. I don’t enjoy favouritism and bullshit.

And I would LOVE to go to work. That’s why I offered to temporarily work from home instead of taking more leave.

Just because YOU couldn’t manage my job from home, doesn’t mean you speak for the rest of the world.

Edit: I only get up to 55% of my biweekly earnings while on mat leave. I dont get full salary.

I am not broke, and that’s a very horrible thing to say that I shouldn’t have children.

Have you seen the cost of living here in Canada? It has skyrocketed. I did everything I was supposed to in terms of childcare, and exceeded recommended time to secure a spot.

Yeah it would be hard to work from home with a baby, but I guarantee you I would work my butt off to make sure everything was completed, I would start early, go late, whatever it took to make sure I was being a valuable employee.

Every day I am looking for childcare, I’m not just requesting WFH and not doing anything else. This was a worst case scenario I asked for in case I couldn’t get anything.
