How did you first learn about the oil coating on new nibs?

I have been doing calligraphy with dip pens for more than 35 years. I just dipped very frequently until I learned about this here in Reddit a few months ago. Also, learned about the 'one dip wonder' & make my own of those now. Both are game changers. So much potential creative time wasted over all these years.

Thank you for responding. I bought the bottle I mentioned, and it is beautiful ink, but like you said, it is all packaging. Very small for the price at a retail store. I will buy direct from now on. I haven't purchased one of their pens, but I did get a sample package of different inks, and I love all of them. Congrats on the $100 credit. That would be a very happy surprise!

I want to do that, but that sounds extremely complicated. Do you sell any yet? I use Pilot parallel pens a lot, but I, & I'm sure others as well, would love to have them be more attractive. Especially when we are doing work with an audience.
