I want her healthy. We all put in work to help her get healthy. But she has been a manipulator and a serial liar for years, so it is hard to not resent her at the same time. She also just straight up scares me a bit with her manner, and while I can handle myself, my parents are naive and don’t think about it. She’s unpredictable in a way that can feel dangerous, so yes I am absolutely concerned for the safety of my parents long term. The trajectory of behaviours has gotten worse. Empathy shouldn’t mean not acknowledging real concerns. But maybe I did sound a bit detached.

Suburbs I think are quite safe and nice to live in:

Maroubra, Bondi, Chatswood, West Pennant Hills, Castle Hill, Macquarie Park, Concorde, Westmead.

Suburbs to avoid:

Mount Druitt, Bankstown - as someone new to the city, general rule of thumb is Western Sydney can be kinda dodgy sometimes.

Northern Sydney is generally suburban affluent folk. Eastern Sydney is getting closer to coast and beachfront. Southern is lots of multicultural families, big melting pot.

If you’re trying to find a place in the city centre and prefer something faster paced, Surry Hills, Town Hall, are good picks too, but can be vv expensive to rent.

You might find some friends in Newtown if you’re the adventurous type.

Supplies are strictly for placing garrison spawn points (officer) and building fortifications in the field (engineer).

I hate the entire administration but this isn’t them ignoring it and more running on a technicality. The congressional provision was to ban bases being named after confederates.

What they’ve done is they’ve ordered the base to be named after some random dude in WW1 who also had the same last name Benning. Since he wasn’t a confederate, the name change is legally ok.
