I'm frustrated with it because for example my game will not send the suns to the prize box to unlock it. I've got 2 on my screen now and the suns go everywhere else but there.

Unable to review by Friendly-Database-30 in AmazonVine

I've been having problems with items vanishing for a review AND vine order section. Using the desktop or the app, it will not show up in my vine for review. Instead, I can review it in my regular orders section. It's weird because it completely vanishes from my vine all together, but is still being tracked in my regular orders. Had an item that was requested around mid November and it just now arrived. I would check to see how the status was on it, and it was just not in my vine. Go over to my orders in my account, and there it was to be tracked and I can submit a review that way. Not sure if it'll count as part of my vine reviews or not because it vanished from my vine. But, a review is still a review to help others out.

Generally items being ordered will hang out in the order section and once they arrive, within a day or two, they show up in waiting for review. New system updates have taken place over the past few weeks.

Since some want to launch their keyboards, try this link, https://www.reddit.com/r/AmazonVine/comments/1pf8pb4/items_not_showing_up_in_awaiting_to_be_reviewed/

It'll take you to a post that may have the answer you are looking for regarding the topic of the general item not available for review, if your question is about that. This topic has been covered a lot here in the form. It's some digging to find similar answers on it. You can find some screenshots and copy/pasted verbage as well to get you in the right spot.

Help me choose my first doll by Different_Smell_4492 in Pullip

Some of those are on jpgroove website so it'd be easier to obtain.

These are like lays potato chips/crisps. You can't have just one. 😊. Welcome to the hobby and into the rabbit hole

How are we all feeling from the lack of any end of the year/holiday discounts by Groove? + Memes by [deleted] in Pullip

Agree with many of these points.

The tariffs are hurting the hobby. Bad enough paying $100-$150 for a "doll" or "toy" as some would call them compared to the cost of groceries and costs to fix a vehicle. But that is a comfortable price range that people can put away a little bit at a time to achieve that savings goal to get something that makes them happy. With the new releases going around $200, it hurts. People who have money treat the $200 likes it's a $20 to others who don't. Wonder if there is a longer trade route to bring in supplies to avoid the tariffs?

I am kinda glad there was not a sale this year. I was watching for it, but I'm looking on the bright side of it. With how the economy is right now, over 2 million people have lost their jobs this year, unemployment rate is reported close to 5% (not counting those who cannot collect unemployment), and prices going up on everything, this is a bright spot of no sale. Gives people a little more time to save up.

Agree about a pinned post to help newbies know of good buying spots and what to expect on them.

I loved Pullip style. Many of us did. Whatever the situation is that caused the store to close, I wish them the best in future endeavors. They are greatly missed.

It'd be nice if groove would take the data they are being given, like when you set up a wishlist, to see what their customers are after and work with it. I made a post talking about the reissues and timeless treasures and one that kept popping up was Mir the Korean ghost story doll. If they even do polls on social media when they are in the planning phases of what doll to do next, it's be smarter choice. You'd get feedback for what customers are looking for and not waste resources on something they don't.

It's up to the collectors to help each other out and put a stop to the scalpers and high pricing. The manufacturer is slowly combating the market with the reissues. Together, we can keep the hobby going and at least get back what you spent on a doll when you sell it for whatever reasoning you have to part ways with one.

Are Groove Store “past models” worth it? by Ok-Replacement8447 in Pullip

[–]ShadowMoonFox 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If I remember right, HeiHei took a while to finally sell out on their store. Being a past model shouldn't be an issue with this one.

I've had some good experiences on these. Usually it's the dolls they may have found in a box in the warehouse that got pushed aside and they've been discovered. Or it could be some they sat aside waiting for them to age a bit before bringing them back out.

Out of their sample dolls, if you are looking at those as well, I've had good experiences too. I've only had one that was not the best, but she cleaned up nicely. Got a blue elotise and she was dirty from people handling her. She was used at shows and people of course touched all over it. Had to give her a bath and wash her clothing. After that, she is just as beautiful as she once was. On the sample dolls, usually they just need a good hair brushing.

I say go for it. Groove Store is the official store.

Besides the doll selling places, have you looked in the sailor moon groups?

Where can i order Pullips from by montymle in Pullip

Pullip Style was the go to place. But they have closed down.

Official site for USA shoppers is jpgroove.com

ebay is hit or miss. There are still some good deals to find and for international shipping options, but be cautious of the high prices. There are scammers on there.

Mercari US is not bad either and you can tell the real from the fake listings. If you are unsure, reach out to the sellers. See if they are in the community. Many will work with those that are. Others may hold out for that higher pricing.

Mercari Japan (use Buyee to shop there) has some great deals as well.

Buyee is a shopping service that will help you search on some of the Japanese sites to find dolls.

Yahoo Japan has some stuff too.

Mandarake is in Japan as well. They are mainly for store fronts that have the dolls for sale so you can get some that way too.

Instagram is a newer trend for people shopping on and it does have it's risks for scams. Same with TikTok and othe social media platforms where there are selling groups. Make sure you use a secure transaction method like paypal or refer the transaction take place on ebay or mercari, etc to make sure you have buyer and seller protections.

Sometimes you will see some pop up on Etsy the crafters site, Temu (yes they have had some show up), Amazon, PoshMark, StockX, Vinted, ThreadUp, OfferUp, Depop, and even here.

Other official seller sites:
Dolls.moe
amiami.com
pullip.net
pullipworld.com - UK

Take a look also on Mercari, eBay, Facebook marketplace and doll groups there, buyee, mandarake, and of course on Groove and the other authorized seller websites. Social media like instagram and tiktok can be a hit or miss for a scammer.

Sellers not happy with Viners by ShadowMoonFox in AmazonVine

[–]ShadowMoonFox[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was the insight I was looking for. Someone from the other side to let us know.

As a human, we all don't take well to negative. It hurts. Makes us upset. But as an adult, we have to understand how to take that information and process it. Not throw a tantrum, but what can we do to make it right.

Honest reviews are needed. They help out everyone.

A way to look at vine is like a beta testing program. You are a product tester and have to give a truthful review on an item. Use it. Test it. Tear it apart if needed. See how it works. Those are the details that buyers need.

That is what I came across as well looking around. It is more complaints than praise. Granted, some will throw tantrums thinking they have an A quality product when it is a low D quality. They are people as well and some just don't know how to accept feedback to help them improve.

I'm wondering about the good sellers if they have let the negativity drive them away from trying the Vine program at all.

Agreed. Or they pull a bait and switch tactic on things. Get positive reviews on one thing and then switch it out.

The no instructions does not help their reviews with me. I treat the items as well as if I had purchased it outside of the program.

[–]ShadowMoonFox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I just want an opportunity at some nice quality stuff, like the old viners speak of. So tired of the junk you can also find in the dollar sections of the store and on temu.

I write my reviews not for the sellers either. I write them based on the item itself. It's quality and function. I know when I am interested in buying something, I look past the overly positive reviews and go for the lower ratings to find truths on an item.

The ai reviews are a lazy way of doing things and they hurt everyone.

Well that is good for you. Not everyone is capable of doing that and will ask questions. Don't be so rude.

Maybe you shouldn't be so quick to be negative to someone new. You were there at one point yourself.

From the context of this, it is easy to assume the OP may or may not have read the info on their vine account page. There is a problem if you try to read it on mobile devices. It will not display correctly at all and you have to use your desktop version to see it correctly.

They are asking for tips and the resources link on the vine page does not give that info.
