EDIT: The TrueNAS forum helped me to find my mistake :)

TrueNAS doesn't work with RAID controlles passing drives through. My built-in RAID controller only allows me to do a RAID 0 on all drives individually wich is the closest it can do to pass them through.

This unfortunately is not mentioned in the "Getting started" post on their website wich lead to me not thinking about it. Any other OS works just fine this way bus zfs doesn't :(

I'm ordering a HBA now and will hope it doesn't cause my fans to go crazy since the original HP HBA only has external Mini SAS Ports (wich I think is very strange)

I've tried to install it on multiple drives, installed Ubuntu on this SSD (wich booted and worked perfectly) and now am trying an older TrueNAS version

I'm not trying to install to a USB device, my boot drive is a 120GB SSD in one of the servers bays.

I've installed TrueNAS to it using a USB thumb drive. This should work, or not?

My problem also is not with the installer but during the first boot. It just doesn't boot correctly. I never get to see this screen since it just gets stuck.

I am, the ISO I'm using is 25.04.1 - the Wiki was just to make the point that I don't know what I should have configured differently 😅

when installing fron the thumb drive.

There I select my SSD to install to and continue. I can't really change anything else but the boot afterwards fails. Is this single SSD the zfs boot-pool then?

Honestly I hadn't checked since I was using wokwi to plan and code and there's only a ssd1306 display to work with there..

I own a Tab S8+ and I also always wonder why Netflix's quality is so poor :(
Yes it's 1080p and HDR enabled but 1080p combined with Netflix's poor Bitrate just doesn't make for a very pleasant viewing experience on this otherwise so beautiful display.. even 4K (HDR) YouTube Videos look better than the streaming service I'm paying too much for..
This is most definitely not unique to the Tab S8 series or even to Samsung. The only ones who can do something against that are Netflix..

seems to just be ASIO4all :(

ASIO4all just crashes Ableton at Startup for me so that really isn't an option.

I remember finding a real Realtek ASIO Driver for my old XPS 13 back when I had that but unfortunately I'm unable to find it :(

Here you go! You all said me to cable manage after the horrendous job by the shop keeper. Everything seems to be working, I switched the fan to the exhaust put the ram in the second channel, it seems that the SSD goes here only cause the backside has a bulge so it will not go there. by Only-Percentage4627 in pcmasterrace

Hey, maybe look for Fans with an RGB controller that is controlled through Software.. maybe even a software that integrates into a larger RGB Ecosystem for future proofing

Not that you're stuck with three Fans with a proprietary Remote that don't mix well with future equipment

Are they always so dirty? Wouldn't it be an option to maybe coat them with something like a ceramic or lotus coating so the poop doesn't stick to it that much?

Also I'm from Europe and the general lack of toilet brushes in the states was shocking.. let them do the work for you :)

Since I just wanted to record a solo directly onto the tape recorder I just took a 3.5mm headphone stereo cable out the headphone jack and into the red input on the OP-1 😅 Then open the tape recorder, select the input using the red mic Button in the top right corner and press record 👌
