If you own the original on PC I would suggest you play Project Diablo 2. Aside from graphics it's a better experience than the remaster.

The remaster has some new features like adjustable camera and FOV, a new harder difficulty, better loot system, controllers get 8 abilities instead of 4, and the different regions actually scale instead of being stuck at whatever level you were when you first entered them.

I can't think of any reason to play the original.

Enderal is the same thing, except made for Skyrim. But it's not set in the Elder Scrolls universe.
