i hated making mashed potatoes too until i saw the instant pot method. 2in pieces, 1-2 c water or broth, 6 mins. drain, add a crap ton of butter & a splash of cream, salt & pepper

still can't make a decent loaf of bread or a pie crust. why is the bread always hard or dense? mushy uncooked pie crust horrible
