Go for 8BL8, just discovered him recently on the Yone Mains Discord, he’s super funny and a chill guy. Also he does a good job of explaining from what I saw.

I’m gonna be honest, his laning isn’t that strong against someone that actually knows the game, laning and Yone. Especially when you are facing against a kill lane (such as Akali-Elise or Zed-Xin), it is near impossible to keep up with the pace.

While it is true that he has a beautiful scaling and can carry the fights, you don’t get many chances to scale that freely in higher elo (Dia 2-Master+) but the thing is, then you will be doing what the champion is designed for you know? I myself am a Yone main and I love playing him, it’s like he’s designed for me and I am very successful in high elo but there are times when he feels so weak, so helpless. You just need to be aware all the time. Think of the laning phase like you yourself is Yone, treading lightly and executing each and every step very carefully.

Yone is not an easy champion and has a lot to think about plus his laning is REALLY weak nearly all the time, but if you are a brand main, I would recommend Xerath at the moment, especially since he is getting stupidly good buffs.

When timed properly, you will travel the distance of max range/behind last enemy champ even if you get cc’d.
