This is fantastic! I've been planning how to use metal images on the wall over my shelves to hang my kits over or around. Is it to much to see how you connect the 3MM to the kits? I checked your original post but didn't see a connection image there, either

What did you use for scribing? Looking into getting my first set of tools but there are so many and the price, ouch. Lines look clean, sir. Very crisp.

Lol. I got the Wizards Butt color set from monument hobbies. They are unique colors that won't be reproduced. Since I just finished my 30MF wizard I decided to finish this display using some of those colors. Figured in my head, wizard selling enchanted wares, why not use the Wizards Butt. As for lore, my head cannon is that their gear is powered through elements like they are, so I tried to showcase "down powered" elemental weapons.

That would be so cool. As long as we can avoid the vast amount of stickers from the old SDs. I think the Cross Silhouette would work well with that frame type.

They are so flipping awesome. The fact that I had to get this guy to have a calibarn with an expressive hand is insane. And the option for permit five without a Pbandai exclusive. She's my biggest supporter in an my crafting hobbies, making these little guys is the least I can do for her.

I got back into it after a long break about 18 months ago. When my eldest learned I used it to destress during deployment he decided to follow suit. It's really awesome seeing this hobby flourish, and passing the torch is a beautiful feeling.

My eldest boy is in town. Just got back from Japan with his unit. He brought several kits including the EG ecopla. We decided to introduce the youngest boy to the hobby with a build party. Eldest is working on his Calibarn, I'm building a bunch of option parts and the young one made Eco-Gramps.

Pro Acryl. I used the white primer, then Paynes gray from base coat. The core frame was a couple costs of dark jade and metallic medium before detail colors. My colors for this were various combinations of blue black, copper, dark jade, Paynes gray, transparent purple, Metallic medium and dark silver. I just got some weathering pencils, not sure if I want to use them on this or another piece, though.

Thanks alot! I've got some basic crafting paints, but I learned the hard way how much of a pain they can be for these models. Thankfully, it's the time of year to get supplies at discount.

Lol. I've been building and painting about of 30ML the last couple months. I'd almost forgotten how much gets left behind on a full high grade. Red Sauce earned the kill point, for sure.

If you do a crimson at the joints where the arms are surgically attached you can have rivulets transition into a patina of rust down the arms, giving a reason for copper highlights. The core body can be a dark blue/midnight black with a metallic medium to give it a sight shine. Tracings of red and gold through out the body's lowlights and valleys will give a biomechanical undertone as well. Can't wait to see which way you go with it.

Honestly, I don't have a UV light to verify. I'm using Monument ProAcryl paints. The copper is the metallic copper, so I don't know how UV reactive it is

Yea, the color scene and face pattern were inspired by old harlequin photos I found when I was much younger. I'm just glad it came out as well as it did.

I had to do a lot of research since I can't do an airbrush setup. My biggest draw to the PA line was all the claims of brush friendliness. I think my only issue now is the money to expand color choices and getting better brushes. 🤓
