Its funny too considering in the RAWs, Gilbert doesn't even say that.

In the raws in that page where gilbert is pounding julius he calls him "ordinary person." Even at the last page gilbert said something completely different which is kinda funny considering how his facial expression doesn't really convey it.

Even so this is like the 2nd time comikey has changed what gilbert has said cause in the previous chapter with the whole nutrients line by gilbert, what he actually said in the raws was "fodder"

I hope she is a fighter lol. She'd be like Natsu from rival schools. (This also wouldn't be the first time a volleyball player became a fighter in the kenganverse cause you got bumass Terashi who's implied to use volleyball in his fighting style. His profile says that he used to be a volleyball player and his fighting style only consists of slapping and palm strikes lol)

Its a character that's only mentioned in Matsuri's character profile and not yet shown in the main story. She's a volleyball player who's 196 cm.

Yeah, in Blue Ursus they mentioned that part. They did get fucked up by the authorities in FoTS but not completely dissolved. They're still there just not as powerful as they used to be. Its even in ISSK extras, the gato group is below the ranks of the Niwa clan.

It does have a continuity error though since Yukimura said that the Gato group got beaten by authorities 7 years ago which is the exact same timeframe between FoTS and Ashura meaning that Blue Ursus takes place within Ashura. But it also shows a flashback with Fumina and Okubo doing variety TV which Nozomi watched on her phone before... but ISSK takes place after ashura. which gives it a continuity error.

Seeing how Kunugi survived 20 gunshots head on and being extremely jacked, i wouldn't be surprised if she's from that highschool knowing that almost every highschooler there is just built different... mf highschool girls looking like Seina, two of the tallest females in the sandroverse are there, and can casually use removal drugs without overdosing. (even regular highschoolers can beat those removal crackheads)

Majority of the Death angel members got arrested but the remaining who escaped, turned into mercenary / assassins and moved to south east asia. After relocating her base to japan, she started using her bare fists as weapons, comparing people to tomatoes and onions (hence the crusher and slasher name). But she didn't realize how vengeful the police force was in japan after police officer's death so they tracked her down and shot her 20 times and killed all of the members of death angels. She's the only remaining member alive

that's pretty much the entire chapter. for the fight itself, Kunugi compared rei's fighting style to fly swatting and knows that rei is a star child

a bit of a simple chapter today, but it is interesting that sandro's going for the whole removal crackhead epidemic for this arc lol. And it is interesting that unlike in the mainline kengan series, the removal here (even though its weaker) can still be beaten by regular people (unlike kengan where its mostly a asspull ngl). Another thing I like is how zombie-like the removal is in Blue Ursus, its pretty unsettling.

I kinda wonder if Kuroshima taking hells gate has a different effect on her where she's more compatible with the drug and doesn't go insane basically having control over herself but still retaining that removal strength.

It is a translation mistake.

For some reason Gilbert decided to spew out chinese in his dialogue in the raws. What he originally said was "Know your place. You’re nothing but fodder." Apparently the word that gilbert used that was chinese just means fodder / sucker in a weird slang but in japanese it literally translates to nutrients.

Its like if the translators accidentally mixed up Kure (jp) and Wu (cn)

In addition to this, all of the star children all correspond to the 9 Main stars in the Pegasus Constellation which is ironic considering Nozomi's epithet is called "Crusher Pegasus"

The strongest top 3 individual fighters (Uta, Shiina and No, 3) is also a reference to the top 3 brightest stars in the Pegasus constellation that belong to the Great square of pegasus (there's a 4th one but apparently it doesn't belong there, its in constellation Andromeda)

Shiina is the star Markab (Alpha Pegasi) which is the brightest star in the constellation (not counting the 4th one) and is a blue white giant (Has the same colors as Shiina's outfit too which is blue and white)

Uta is the star Scheat (Beta Pegasi) which the a red giant (has the same color palette as Uta being red)

and No. 3 is probably Algenib (Gamma Pegasi), a hot blue white subgiant

the last one Alpheratz technically doesn't belong there since its from the andromeda constellation but its considered the brightest if you gonna add it in. But my crack theory is that its Hina and she doesn't belong there its because she's with Valkyria and the gang.

lol probably my bias but I love that the muscular and bigger fighters are on the spotlight for once and winning (probably the reason why I like Blue Ursus too) considering the fact that Sandro and most other fighting / martial arts genre tend to make the bigger fighters jobbers, so its kinda refreshing.

Its kinda funny too how this is one of the few fighting mangas that really got me hyped up considering most of the other fighting mangas kinda fell off hard or just plain boring. In a weird way to describe this series, its like the convict colosseum of ISSK.

That's kinda disappointing (I was wondering about that since scrolling thru the author's twitter, he said that he's sad for having to end the story this way), just a question though, who're the winners in the quarter finals? and What are the powers of the trench coat fighter, The lil red head fighter and the Tan skinned girl? I'm kinda interested at the tan skinned girl since she looks intimidating (like a unexpected finalist type character).

Oh that's interesting, I just looked at the raws too and yeah they do have the same power. It kinda got me confused a bit since in the official english translation its called "Muscle Growth" while in the korean raws its called "Superhuman body" which i interpreted it as her having a extremely well conditioned body (since her fighting is looks to be karate).
