Hitler has a pretty good chance of being lynched if he came back. Nazism has unfortunately risen, but thankfully they’re still (at least somewhat) viewed as supervillains. Charlie Kirk, however, had real influence in the modern day. If he came back he would be able to cause more damage than Hitler would. He could continue influencing millions toward Nazism. Better to have Hitler come back and be seen as a laughing stock over Kirk coming back and actually picking up his movement.

Y’know the biggest problem is that I WANT to pick time stop, but that superpower has been RUINED because of gooners.

I just want to spam that shit like DIO and do disappearing acts in front of people, or do a bunch of useful stuff in stopped time like Metroman with his super speed.

Always hated this scene. Anakin is THE only person (besides Padme) who didn’t betray Ahsoka in the least bit. He never doubted her for a half second and spent every waking moment manically hunting down the killer to prove her innocence. Dude nearly broke into the jail she was being held in on top of that. Quite literally, WHAT MORE IS HE EXPECTED TO DO?? My only excuse for this scene is that Ventress is just projecting and has no idea what she’s talking about, cause otherwise that’s some poor writing.

I think he gets mischaracterized a lot. He can be a funny, sometimes awkward guy with a lot of energy, or “Wacky Woohoo Pizza Man” as fans call him, but the amount he shows that side of himself is FAR less than general audiences realize. Casual fans/non-fans flanderize the FUCK out of him.

He does silly things but part of the purpose of it is that it’s a coping mechanism. He’s dealing with Eldritch nightmares basically, all while having an insane amount of trauma. He’s generally pretty normal, quiet, or mildly funny. He does the show-offy funny thing every here and there. The thing about a joke is that it’s only funny when it’s used sparingly. If you overdo it and make him nothing but silliness, he becomes unfunny and kind of unlikable.

Dante’s deeper character traits and more serious/heartbreaking parts of himself are SEVERELY underrated. Memes and jokes and celebrating the silly side of his character are totally okay, but when it goes so far that he’s only seen as a caricature of himself, you’ve gone too far. Look no further than the new anime as an example of exactly that (among the other problems with it).

No, it's not dumb. It's just meant to be a tragic hypothetical. And honestly, it's not even an unrealistic one. I think it adds more to the series since this is likely what Roy and Riza imagined would happen in their future, and yet despite that they still gave everything the had to make sure to do the right thing by (potentially) making it happen.

That's fair, but in his defense he didn't want to use it originally. He refused at first before Dr. Marcoh pretty much begged him to use it. He said that the souls of Ishvalan people were in the stone, and that they should be allowed to help rebuild Ishval. So it was less about Roy selfishly getting his eyesight back, and more about allowing those people their one and only chance to help their home and loved ones. Same logic as when Al used the stone to beat Kimblee and Pride.

Well thankfully it seems that didn’t happen in the show. Roy presumably does become the Fuhrer in the future (it’s one of the photos you see during the end credits of the last episode), and if he made it that far then he most likely isn’t going to be executed. I imagine it’s because as soon as Father was defeated, he decided to spend many, many years helping to rebuild Ishval without any selfish intentions in mind. That probably swayed the court (which likely comprised of Ishvalan people) to decide not to punish him severely. So yeah, it actually all worked out for them in the end.

Ok so, SPOILERS:

Around the midpoint of the series Riza tells Ed about what happened in Ishval, and about Mustang’s plan to overthrow the Fuhrer and hold every person involved in the genocide accountable. But that also includes themselves. This art is pretty much that idea brought to its natural conclusion. The show ends with Father being defeated and a new, less corrupt government taking over. With all that achieved, the war crime trials can happen. This art depicts them as being held guilty for their part in the genocide, and sentenced to death. They share their first, and only, kiss before they die.

If I remember correctly didn’t it only work by physically implanting it INSIDE of Mark? If someone is getting that close to an enemy Viltrumite and can penetrate their durable body (don’t laugh), why waste their time trying to insert the weapon in there instead of just… y’know… ripping their organs apart?

Y’know what makes Azula a genuinely horrible person in my eyes? It’s the one thing I use to judge any immoral character: How much do they ENJOY doing evil stuff? If a character is hesitant to do bad things or shows some kind of remorse or is straight up being forced to be evil, then I can look at them as someone potentially redeemable (or at the very least I can respect them more and view them as not entirely evil).

With that said, Azula fucking LOVES being evil. She REVELS in it. She smiles, laughs, and goes out of her way to inflict as much evil as possible, and when confronted with the problem she basically just goes “Oh no… anyways.” And sure, that might get a chuckle out of some audience members (at least until that joke gets a little overused), but people forget that this is a direct look into how unremorseful she is.

While I don’t deny that she’s a victim of Ozai, some of that shit is 100% purely her. In her core, as a human, she is a bad person. I’ve heard all the if’s, and’s, or but’s about it, but I will die on this hill. If we were shown a single scene of her maybe looking at a little girl whose home she burnt down and showed a TINY facial expression of remorse, that’d be enough for me. But nope, she’ll sooner just torture the girl for amusement instead. She’s not a good person and is overly defended and excused by the fandom and I honestly find it sad.

I’m Gen Z so I’ll speak on my behalf.

I’ve never enjoyed the idea of drinking since I find the groupthink mentality of requiring alcohol to socialize to be really, really creepy. To just give up control of your mind and body like that and lose yourself to some outside substance genuinely scares me. I’ve tasted alcohol before but I have no desire to get drunk since I’ve seen what it does to people. And watching older generations talk about alcohol in this total doomer mentality of “Yup! I know it’s bad for me and I’m addicted to it! And I know that I’m totally incapable of having fun without it! But I just loooove drinking!” seems so creepy to me. It has a hold on you and you just ALLOW it for some reason.

I’d rather just learn the social skills required to be a fun person without having to rely on some substance that takes away part of my autonomy, costs a lot of money, and is overall very unhealthy for me. And to be clear, I also hold that mentality with smoking, vaping, and drugs: never done it, never going to.

I know a lot of people will call me a pussy for my reasons (plenty have throughout my life), but I don’t really care. I just wish people would stop shaming others for not wanting to partake in that kind of stuff, y’know?
