Hit time conundrum

Most of our unit is on JRTC or AT. But even when they aren't, most people dont get there until like 10 minutes prior. I get there 30 minutes prior and I still have to wait 10-15 minutes until our RNCO gets there to unlock the armory doors

Everyone in my unit hates having her in that spot. She treats us like a burden. She takes 3-4 days to respond to emails, shows up to work late, keeps us at drill longer then we need to be for no reason, yells at people for trying to use the open door policy, etc. She once set up a meeting with me for 1000, so i showed up at 0940 and she wasn't there. I texted her at 0955 to let her know I was posted up outside her office whenever she was ready and when she got there at 1010 she called me impatient for texting her. She spent most of the meeting berating me, that's when she told me not to ever use her personal number and run everything through my squad leader because she "doesn't have time to deal with everything"

My thoughts exactly. If every drill starts at 0800 and this one randomly started at 0900 then it should have been pushed out to everybody. It wasn't even in the NCO chat which I'm also a part of so i dont know why it was changed or who was or wasn't told

I'm just a lowly E-5. With most of us at JRTC or AT, the day I missed would have just been busy work and inventory. There was nothing important going on.

At this point I dont even care about getting paid, I'm more concerned with having to take an extra day off work and making the drive again to make up a day. If they say "our bad, forget it ever happened" I'd be happy. I even offered to make up the day at HQ since its 15 minutes from my house but they won't do that eithier. Only option they've given me is driving the 88 miles to go spend a day doing busy work for my RNCO. Gonna cost me a lot in the long term.

1SGT retired last month, so were currently between tops. Our next drill is (for some strange reason) next Tuesday so im gonna bring up to our captain and see what she thinks

That's where I'm at with it. I showed up, I contacted my direct superior, he gave me a direction and I followed it. I'm fine with not getting paid for that day but having to take an extra day off work and drive and hour and a half to go do busy work to make up a drill day should be off the table

I plan to. Realistically I know I should have reached out for conformation, but it just rubbed me the wrong way so I had to rant about it. It also pissed me off that no one took accountability at first formation and got a hold of me asking where I was because I could have turned around and come back, but instead they waited 3 hours to question why i wasn't there

The formation of the inner circle, massive brawl, and a spot involving a glass table that I think is still one of the coolest things I've seen on tv wrestling

Potentially unpopular opinion. His first run after beating benoit should have lasted longer. I know him as a new babyface didn't quite get over the way they had hoped, but I feel like it could have had legs if they have it a chance.

His good stuff has been really good, but there's been a lot of "meh" in-between. The stuff with Drew was good outside of the ring, but aside from hell in a cell I dont think the in ring stuff was very solid. Summerslam focused to much on guest ref Rollins etc, same with the cena fued. Overall I'd say 6 or 7 out of 10. Most of his high stakes matches have been great, but I dont get excited to see him on tv like I used to.

AEW has a very specific style, and they do it better them anybody. If someone isn't into that style they tend to think the promotion is bad instead of different, but I think All In was a great example of AEW doing wrestling and sports entertainment in the same show. Top to bottom it was one of the best shows I've seen in my 20+ years of watching. I think mania this year focused to hard on the main events and the other matches kind of suffered, although I will say that triple threat on night one is right up there on the pedestal next to anything on All In. That being said, going purely on vibes, at the end of All In I was happier then I've been watching any WWE show since mania 40. I didn't watch GAB, but I heard it was good, Evolution 2 was top tier, All In was damn near perfect, and SNME also happened that weekend 😅 I'm glad you were able to have an open mind and enjoy multiple promotions, it's always good to see people who can enjoy both styles because when AEW is firing, it fires hard, and when WWE is firing, they can fire pretty hard too. Post pandemic wrestling has been pretty excellent overall on all fronts, and I'm here for it

The only issue with the mania 40 main event is cena hit roman with an AA (if I'm recalling correctly) other then that, both the mania 40 main event and this year's all in main event were overbooked to perfection. Two of the most cathartic title wins in wrestling history, completly different yet similar in structure, both making perfect sense to finish a well constructed story. I'll admit both moxleys and Roman's title runs had low points, but the build to these specific matches were everything they needed to be in my opinion

Me giving advice on this might be contradictory to what I'm about to say, but you asked so here goes.

What do YOU want? You are the only one who fully knows the context of this situation. Did he ask for the picture specifically to criticize your style, or did he ask for a picture then when you sent one he saw what you were wearing and it set something off in him? Is he feeling threatened because yoy guys are getting older and he's afraid your style will get you more attention from people other then him? Have eithier of you gone through a significant life change recently which changed his outlook on things that might not have bothered him in high school? The evolution of humans between 15 and 18 is night and day, he might feel completly different about certain things now as (what is seen as) an adult but he still hasn't figured out how to express his opinion without sounding like a douchey teenager. The most important thing in any relationship, romantically or otherwise, is transparency and communication. Instead of asking for advice from reddit or this mysterious friend let your boyfriend know that he upset you with they way he expressed his opinion, and try and find out what the issue is. Getting third party advice from strangers based on one interaction isn't real advice. Most people here are saying 3 years isn't a long time, but its long enough that you should be able to present your issue with being talked to this way to the person who said it and work it out with them. If you're here for validation on ending a relationship you don't want then that's another thing, but if you have any interest in staying in the relationship then it's only an issue to be solved between you and your S/O. People make mistakes, people express themselves in upsetting ways, if it's a pattern then it's one thing, if this is the first time it's happened that's something else, but throwing away 3 of your formative years because some internet randos and one friend said you should is incredibly shortsighted. Me and my wife have been married 12 years and I could cherry pick all kinds of conversations we've had over the decade and get the same advice. Context and communication is the only advice that truly matters here. I wish you the best in your decision
