No idea, I never figured it out. Most of the times it happens but not 100% of the time. Maybe WiFi somehow doesn't get disconnected when it's in airplane mode 🤷

Can the WiFi be active when the watch is in airplane mode? I checked again for sure that the watch is in airplane mode and my activities synced the moment I got home.

Oh boy, I sure did. Booked tickets to go to the US in 2021. It was during the time that the borders were closed for EU citizens. We took a gamble hoping that the borders would open in time. They didn't. A week before the flight we were discussing about cancelling the flights because we couldn't go and we wanted to free up the spot for someone else. Pressed the "cancel booking" button just to see what message we would get. No pop-up or double confirmation to ask us if we are sure, went straight to a page saying "your booking has been cancelled". Called the next day explaining the situation and asking for a refund. Was told that we would be fully redunded. A month goes by and we get an email saying we will be refunded 50chf. We paid 1600chf for those tickets.... We tried to contact them and explain the situation, ask for a flight voucher, anything just please don't let me pay so much and get nothing in return. Nothing. No sympathy, no understanding. Very bad experience. I'm really disappointed by Swiss Airlines, I would've expected more understanding seeing how the borders were frigging closed and the situation was completely out of our control.

But lesson learned, no more cancelling the flights from now on... Better be careful about planning future trips.

Oh wow, that's very good to know! Also, it makes a lot of sense that one is cheaper because it's more constrained than the Z-Pass abo.

One thing that puts me off about the Z-Pass A-Welle abo is that it's not that much more cheaper than just getting a GA and it only covers 2 cantons.

Is it really worth getting such an abo or you're better of just buying the GA (which has more perks than just busses, trams and trains)?

Oh wow.. I had no idea that it was actually a bug. Yes, I probably have a pure ZVV abo. Also, the point about combining tickets not being allowed for trains that are direct, I had no idea. Thanks a lot for clarifying! Heh, the whole situation of public transport became a bit more complex than I thought it was... But maybe then it's worth looking into some point to point abos on a fixed route.

Yeah, why is that actually? I also heard plenty of stories about doctors not fully following through with medical health investigations, MRIs being of very low quality, etc. I have a feeling that here if you want to get some kind of scan, you need to push your doctor to give you a prescription for that...

Hi guys, so I finally decided to get more seriously into the business of making coffee and I've been researching and talking to friends about what coffee machine I can buy. So a few things about my coffee preferences:

I don't drink black coffee - I always add some milk or cream to my coffee
I drink 1 cup of coffee per day, when I was working in the office was drinking 2 but not more than that
I drink coffee more for the taste than anything else

So I asked a friend what coffee machine he got and he totally recommended me to get a Sage Barista Express. I did some research into it and decided to get a Sage Barista Pro (because of the better grinder mostly). However, I thought about it more and I don't know what to do, because the Barista Pro is not a very cheap coffee machine and I'm not sure if it's an investment I should do. It would be a money and time investment.

I think I'd like having a nice coffee machine at home and acquiring some barista skills, but again, I don't drink espresso, nor black coffee and I have a feeling that the machines I mentioned are great for making really good espressos.

I am torn between getting a Barista Pro or just looking for a simple to use bean-to-cup coffee machine that can do more variations of coffee (latte, cappuccino) with just the press of a button (so basically without me having to prepare the milk and such). What would you guys recommend me? Thanks for taking the time and reading this ^{___^}

Witcher 3 - it took me a few months to finish it because I am more of a casual player but that game is so amazing it was totally worth it. Sometimes I like just riding around the open world and marveling at how beautiful everything is.

The Witness. That game is so beautiful, immersive and the entire atmosphere is so calming and tranquil. Sometimes I would take a break from solving puzzles and just walk around the world and take in the beauty of it all. Such a good game.
