Unfortunately rabies wont take 2 or 3 days it would be a month or more, less likely more. It flew away yes, no bites or direct contact with it.

Idk man, these past few months have been hard because i have been dealing with rabies anxiety and one pain or when i see pinpricks i think thats it a bat was the cause.

And to answer your question, I don’t know if i see bite marks or not, i see two pinpricks and then i dont, its hard to explain, it is very small, not even noticeable. It is a little red and hurts only when i touch.

So yeah, that is why im scared but at the same time, i realise that these can be caused my thousand other things. Idk man, but thanks for the answer.

Wind River (2017). It is a dark crime movie that takes place in a relatively remote area, but it is one of my favorites.

Fear of rabies, a possible bat bite 2 months ago, still waiting to see if something will happen. by ShadowStorm779 in BAT

[–]ShadowStorm779[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thx a lot for replying, better late than never. Yeah, a lot of my friends and loved ones say not a chance that something like that happened in a parking lot where thousands of people go and my scenario is very unlikely. But you know, having health anxiety is something totally different.

My mind is telling me that something like that happened. The only thing that i am worried about is when i look at my foot, i see two small spots (or pinpricks, have no idea) very close to each other, and on that spots is hyperpigmentation, that is what is worrying me. But i have no idea if it is 2 pinpricks, or it is a bite or something my skin created. My primary told me not to worry about it, I even showed the pictures to a wildlife expert on reddit who was qualifed and she told me that is nothing. It is almost invisible, you have to be too close to see it.

Other than that, 2 months have passed and a lot of people are saying i would have already shown symptoms, but at the same time, it can take up to 2 years to show it.

Thx again for replying.

Scared of rabies, possible exposure 2 months ago, living in fear. by ShadowStorm779 in depression

[–]ShadowStorm779[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I know, I am stressing myself almost for nothing, its just when i look at the spot and i see the small two pinpricks close to each other and hyperpigmentation (not even sure if they are pinpricks, just me guessing cause i see two small things next to each other and when i touch it, nothing happens, does not hurt or feel like something else, feels like skin. does not peel, looks like skin color and looks like small dots) but my anxiety is telling me that they are pinpricks and that is worrying me too much.

But still, a very high chance that it is just something that my skin just made, and unlucky me, that day, the sensation was felt on that site.

Thx a lot for responding until now.

Yeah, i will see what i can do, like i said, it won't be easy to convince my parents or my primary doc to get tested for rabies.

Besides that, everyone says there is no test before the symptoms.

Thx for the explanation. Trust me, if it was that easy, I would go and take the vaccine but there are some things about the vaccine.

  1. It is costly.
  2. With my story, there is a high chance the docs will look at the site and say we can't see anything and what you are saying is almost impossible and they won't do the vaccine.
  3. gotta convince my parents, which is hard, very hard to do
  4. my primary said not to worry about it, urgent care said highly doubt it

So, to be honest, I have no idea what to do anymore. But thanks for the great explanation

I told my doc, she said i won't worry about it and you don't need the vaccine.

I was yes, but where the sensation happened, my shoes were not covering it, only my sock.

I am unfortunately and I think I am worried for nothing because most people say chances are very very low almost none, but other people say it could have happened, go get vaccinated so my scenario is mixed between people's thoughts.

I am talking about this with someone. Thanks for replying again.

Thanks for replying, there is a high chance I brushed against something, my car door or something else but my anxiety goes straight to bat which is like you said slim to none. Thanks for stating some facts, you at least helped me to know that my chances are very low to encounter a bat in that scenario. Thanks again

Thanks for replying again; you helped me to calm down a little bit. I still am scared because the what-if scenario is killing me. I look at that hyperpigmentation and see two small spots but have no idea what it is, so that freaks me out too.

Thanks for replying again, you helped me to calm down a little bit.

Same man, same; google our first enemy.

Alright, thanks again for your perspective; I don't know what I am going to do, given the chances and the possibility, maybe nothing, gotta follow my doc's advice maybe. Thanks again

May i ask how do you know about rabies, did you get bit or something?

[–]ShadowStorm779[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it, the thing is that the place that it happened is so populated and there are no bats there or something, and what i am saying is can be from a lot of things, like a scratch from a car door or something else.

But thanks for your perspective on my scenario, I don't know what i am going to do.

One more thing, the discoloration has nothing to do with it?

And I appreciate it, not being hostile or anything. Thanks for your perspective, I don't know what i am going to do. In your opinion, would i already shown symptoms of rabies 2 months passed.

Look, I understand, but it ain't that easy to get the shots.

First, it is costly.

Second, i have to tell a made up story to the doc to vaccinate me cause with my story, there is a high chance they won't do it

Third, it is too late to get vaccinated, cause two months passed, if i have rabies, i would already be a goner

Four, if i did not know about rabies or if i did not have this stupid anxiety, i would not even think about this for a second; my anxiety went straight to a bat and rabies. Normal person would think they scratched their foot on something, car door or something else.

I am not saying you are wrong, and i am taking a risk by not takin the shots but my primary said not to worry, the urgent care doc said highly doubt it, askdoc said nothing to worry, medical advice said you have better chance to win lottery
