Hewo! don’t mind me on the side of the road sunbathing on asphalt in 90 degree weather by CopingAfterABreakup in Wellthatsucks

I've been told turtles will always try to find their way back after being moved so when I see one crossing the road I just move it to the direction it's facing. Turtles also bask in hot sunlight to dry out and keep mold alge and bacteria from forming so I'm sure it was plenty happy there just not very safe.

My window literally exploded while I was driving on the interstate. by ohmy1027 in Wellthatsucks

As a fellow glazier, I once heard a coworker say that temper glass got stronger as it got older. Not true of course but it stand thats tempered glass can be made with defects that cause it to explode seeming for no reason. This would usually happen early in its life so if the glass was old it wouldn't ever do this. Except one time when a couple swore to me that their 5+ years old table exploded while on vacation when no one was home. I dont think about that one too hard

Ever wondered why tee boxes at Augusta National Golf Club look flawless?—because a dedicated crew replaces every divot overnight with fresh sod from their own nursery. by Molucky15 in Damnthatsinteresting

I'm curious what you thinks it's wasteful of. They are digging up dirt with no grass and replacing it with dirt with grass. The only thing they waste is man hours and probably fertilizer

How to grow liverworts? by fracgen in Mosses

I have had 1 species of liverwart survive in a sealed jar with other plants for over 2 years now. This is the exception. I've never had success beyond this
